[Official] Spring Training Thread

Well more people feel that way about watching 4 hour baseball games... hence the change.

 

Anytime you post, all I can think of is this:

 

It started with the three point line and descended from there.

 

I get that. While diagnosed with ADD back when they treated it with tranquilizers(~1968ish), I adapted rather than expecting the world to adapt to me.

They have won the sports market share battle since 1980. The NBA has taken a lot of it's cues from WWE. Drama sells. Climax sells which is why they want fast close games where superstars do superstar things at the end.

 

Watching some Spring ball has me a bit more relaxed about the Verlander exit. It will be interesting to see how older pitchers who waved off a lot calls and/or caught their breath between pitches adapt.

 

And when you feel you have to respond, I thing of a self plucking duck.

 

This game is radio only again?

 

Oh come on, don't act like you don't miss a final of 90-87 knock-down drag out game. (yea I don't either)

The next ATT SportsNet game is when the Astros play against Altuve (Venezuela) in a warm up game ahead of the World Baseball Classic.

 

You don't like 176-175 NBA games?

 

I enjoy seeing his blank, unchanging face on the picture they put up on MLB Gameday because it's just like watching the real thing.
