    It might be better to just get the war over with now. China will continue to be a problem and we only let them get stronger the longer we wait. Let's do the damn thing already!

    Same with nuclear war with Russia and extreme climate change. Unfortunately in a capitalist system ruled by allegiance to maximizing quarterly profits mistakes can be made.

    Imagine if Trump hadn't pulled the US out of TPP - we'd be less dependent on China for our supply line. They'd have less control over our economy. WE could actually fight a trade war with them without crippling ourselves.

    The US is good at war when they put real effort into it.

    We tend to dabble though........ Vietnam, Afghanistan etc.
