How can our coaches expect players to play defense and fundemental basketball when at the same time everyone and their cousins knows this organization is doing a massive tank job? Nix played 30+ minutes last night and there is rotational sitting of our so-called star players and the clowns in this organization get mad when the others are soft on defense. Pathetic!!!
Think about being a player on a team where others are rewarded for failure, like our coach with the worst record in NBA history. No accountability for anyone like KPJ and an owner who says he’s praying for Wembley. You as a player are well aware the mission is to lose (which it is with Tilman & Stone), so now you’re confused when penalized for lack of effort. This organization from top to bottom lacks care and effort and constantly lies to fans about fake picks being offered for players and deadline deals which never occur. Almost like a casino owner is running the team.
Nix played 30 minutes because KPJ and Green were injured and EG and Mathews were traded. Josh Christopher would be the odd man out but I don't think replacing Nix with Josh is going to magically lessen tanking chances. Most likely the coaching staff thinks Nix plays the pg position better while Christopher is more of a off guard.
Nix played 30 because tate got in foul trouble. Which was bs BTW. Our team D being so bad is causing tate to suffer because he gets no respect. If he played on a team that had even a decent defensive reputation he'd be able to get away with much more .
I get the frustration. I get the need for vent threads. I think we just have to bare these last 20 games. And I don’t see reasonable people putting up with anything less than major changes in the offseason. I think Stone is officially on the clock. One way or another, next season will be the real measure of how badly ( or well lol) the rebuild is going. Trying to keep my anger and frustration down deep till then because the org doesn’t care what the fans think anyway.
