Democrats under obama/Clinton never personally attacked the Republicans like they are under biden. It's a conscious decision to ditch the hand holding bipartisan crap I was talking to him how useless the left is at governoring. They've never accomplished anything on the legislative stage. Gavin Newsom was literally the most NIMBY anti housing guy for years. Biden came out strongly for housing and his HUD is going to make a rule tying grant money to new house construction. Magically now Gavin Newton is a yimby ! Look at that ! He wants the white house in 2028 so he has to out flank biden. Amazing what good policy can do. The most progressive thing you can do is provide housing for all. Folks who are against new construction should be deported away. We need to build ALOT more housing and stop hedge funds from buying them!

Hard agree. Not just overrule NIMBYs though, we need to radically reduce barriers to new building, be they environmental, zoning, etc. People should be able to develop land that they own.
