    I was wondering if the Rockets get the 1st overall pick and take the French C.



    Could the Rockets trade future Picks and or players to get the #2 pick and get Scoot?

    They could with the Nets assets, clippers pick, Sengun, Eason, trade Kpj and Martin for other picks, future rockets picks as well.

    That is 7-8 picks, 2 swaps, plus Eason and Sengun. If that were even enough the Rockets would not do it. They would have no picks for the next 5+ years and no recourse if they continued to suck.

    Which they would suck because that is a lineup with 2 19 year olds a 20 year old and a 21 year old.

    No. We would probably need to include Green plus some picks.

    It wouldn't be as much as you suggested, but it would depend on team 2 WANTING Green over Scoot.
    Before a player is drafted they are always valued more highly, once they have played NBA, their worth is set

    I basically agree with what you say, but can't see it happening without it being Green plus a bunch of picks (like 3 or 4?).
