That guy is lighting it up in the summer league for the Clippers! I think we should get him back here. He was a great role player for us not too long ago. He can play multiple posistions and help take some of the defensive pressure off mcgrady

How on earth was he a great roleplayer for us? Don't mention potential. What did he do for us?

Jim Jackson is a great roleplayer.

The year we had all those injuries he came in and played a good role for us. he was pretty consistent on making his open shots and he got a few boards. If I recall he even hit a game winning three pointer, but I can't seem to find any stats on him because he was not in the NBA last year

Only played 12 minutes a game. That's not precisely a valuable role player ;). He managed about 46% from the field. Only 19% from the 3 point line, though.

clutchfans.net has statistics on all former rockets.

If I recall correctly, he had a slump for a while and then played pretty well for a stretch.

But signing him bacuase he's lighting it up in the Summer League? Two words. Dan Langhi.

"So What, Big Deal" as my teacher used to say. TMo is playing against mediocre competition. He did little for the Rockets when he was here.

Mark me down as a Tmo fan. I think he can do a lot of little things and really help us. If Tmo were in at the 3, we get mid range shooting, a tall guy to dump it in to Yao, a guy than can rebound and play a little defense. All for not much money. I'd like to have him on my bench.

How will we be able to sign him when Johnny Davis already has his arm twisted to do so?

T-Mo is a hard-working team player who does a little of everything. Everybody is calling for the Rocks to sign Eric Williams, but T-Mo would do just as well and for a lot less money. Fact is, I'd rather have him on the team than A. Griffin.

TMo is garbage. He plays well against the other garbage players in the NBDL and the summer leagues. I would rather have Pig Miller. On this team TMo would be the 5th string PF right behind Scott Padgett.

T-Mo is not a power forward. He is a SF who was occasionally pressed into service as a PF just as both MoT and Spoon were pressed into service at center.

How does TMo fill a need that we currently have?

I'd rather have Scott Padgett back.

On this team, the SF has to be able to shoot the three (did you notice Jimmy Jack taking and making career highs in 3pters?). So TMo would certainly not be playing the 3 for the Rockets. If you don't want him compared to the PFs on our team though, he would be 5th string behind Jackson, Nachbar, Piatkowski, and Griffin. I don't think we need a fifth string forward of either persuasion. I can't believe we wasted a 1st round pick on that jackass, great job Steve.
