Silas is staying for tanking. The front office already has him trained and can't afford putting another coach through orientation.
I would rather give Lucas or Abdelfattah an opportunity over the last 20+ games work with the kids and at least try to give them something to build on for next year.
Look at that smile, must have been after KPJ dropped 25 on a 20 point loss, with 8 of 29 shooting while Sengun only played 15 minutes that night.
This is why Silas will not be fired! What’s the point of firing him and winning more games now? We have one, one objective. That’s to end up with the worst record this season. Let’s not fire Silas and blow this Ike your Houston Texans. We’re half way through this. Stay the course men.
I think it's safe to say he has. Which also probably means that they will be looking outside of the organization for the next coach. They already know Silas's fate, so not giving Abdelfattah a look for the last 20+ games probably means they are going a different route.
I check daily because he can only be fired once and I don’t want to miss it. What a great day of celebration when the inevitable finally happens.
That’s a dumbass strategy, including for the fact that there’s only a 14% chance winning the top pick.
Very true and we’ll still have our 14% chance as bottom three all have identical chances at top two picks.
$88,185,338 in dead money this year & $59,612,188 in dead money last year. Over the cap 20 win teams paying people to go away to accumulate assets in the process .... but he's cheap?
You should work in PR, lol. Implying that dead money was actually part of a strategy and not our GM and owner blundering over and over again, lol.
