Why is it plural in your title and singular in the post.

    Dumb. I agree with me.

This person has a convicted murderer and drug trafficker as their avatar. And a poorly colored image from the 'Bleach' manga for their header. I'm sorry but I don't really care for their opinion. I'm not even going to discuss the Knicks recent draft picks because I don't enjoy needlessly bashing young players.

Who gives a **** what this random dude thinks? Our own fans have plenty enough disdain for our youngsters to last us a good couple of years (and not all for no reason, mind you)

The more important question is--why does this need to be a thread?

Well, since you agree with him, I guess it's time for you to find another sport to follow.

I'm sure it won't be a big loss to him, he's probably only watched the NBA for a season and a half.

    Wow.
Instead of defending your two top picks, you keep on attacking Sengun.
    You guys are incorrigible.

I’ve been living in LA for some time now so I listen mostly to other commentators than those in Houston. The common things I hear on Green is how fast he is, he can get hot and score in bunches, and most are blown away by his acrobatic shots and how high he gets up for dunks. For Smith it has not been much said other than the general stuff, he’s the 3rd pick with a height of 6’11. I can’t really recall anyone being impressed with his game or calling out any of his strengths. Sengun however has been getting the most praise and the comments usually have been he’s got an old man’s inside game. They are always quick to point out he’s only 20 but is already overpowering opponents. Many have said he reminds them of Jokic and look forward to what his game will be once he’s had a couple more years of playing. As for the rest of the Rockets these commentators aren’t as harsh on KPJ and think more highly of KMJ. It’s actually been refreshing to hear what others have to say about our players. That said I don’t expect them to bad mouth players nor be negative but it’s not hard to tell it’s usually when they don’t speak much about a player they aren’t impressed.

Ya I've heard things like Jazz commentators say.thar Green has a higher ceiling than Ja Morant. Celtics commentators saying he reminds them of Jaylen Brown. And what's odd is that people here say "Jalen Green has no handle" yet multiple commentators like Antonio Daniels and the Celtics commentators saying Green has great handles for his age.

Opposing commentators are extremely high on Green. From all the teams I watched I think the Kings commenters were the most critical in the sense that the female commentator said multiple times that they need to build around Sengun and not Green. Fair statement but she for some reason said it like multiple times.

In terms of online NBA fans in general. People either hate him or love him. Very polarizing.

For Jabari, commenters when they do comment on him are usually nice in saying they see his potential but point to his struggles so far.

A Knicks fan doesn't qualify as an actual basketball fan. Would you rather have Obi Toppin? No?

I don't watch many games so it's hard for me who to believe. I'm neutral cause I've been burned before going with the flow. I'll throw in my hot takes here and there but not demand a trade this early.

It's just the team perception is at a really low point right now. Swap our picks for other teams picks and they'd say the same thing about those guys because we'd still be tanking. IDC if it's Mobey, or Cade or Chet or Paolo. We'd be last place and look hopeless with them too. But, it's not hopeless. this is the process. That's our negative perception while the obvious tanking Spurs, are seen as a prestigious winning culture that can develop players so people already saying they want to see Wemby go there and not rot in somewhere like Houston.

This is just the price of tanking. If we win the prize, it will all be immediately worth it. If we don't, it still could be worth it with tons of young guys with loads of potential growing together, it just may take longer. Or it may not. If we lose the draft sweepstakes. Yall really think we stay bottom feeders? Everyone including the players know what the plan is. Failure to execute that plan likely means immediate culture change with emphasis on development, strategy, and coaching and winning and the players will get that message that play time is over. Same thing if we win the draft and get Wemby. People really think we're not going to go all in on a winning culture? We're not a loser franchise. We're just tanking with a purpose. Once that purpose is either fulfilled or failed, we're going to change a lot internally.

Can yall even think of a player who looked incredible or really good on the worst team in the league? 24 year old T-Mac because he was hitting his peak as they had nothing else around him with their cap tied into an injury plagued GHill? Who else? The list is short. When teams we're really bad with future stars, those future stars were just kids on a bad team.
Yall wanna win now? The only way we do that is if Kyrie blows up the Mavs this summer and Luka is 24 on a really bad team, and we can offer them Francis(Jalen), Cat(KPJ) and Eddie Griffin(Bari), and Luka pairs with Wemby(Yao) or if don't get Wemby, we do another trade with the new pick and more that pairs Luka with another all star he wants to play with.
Short of that, trust the process.
