agreed on not bringing on the meh pick, but I'm simply not buying stone as a gm. I think he's had incredibly good fortune and is still somehow squandering it

    1. from getting the job by being a cheap contract kiss ass
    2. to getting a trade that couldn't be evaluated for a longer term in Harden
    3. to getting a top two draft pick in a year the pick could have conveyed to OKC

he's managed to assemble a lot of good young talent but has been too stupid to bring some polished vets in and make them compete for spots. he just hands over roles and tells his lackey coach to handle it while letting silas take the fall

I know many forum posters will say.... it's a tank - all's good.... well, I'd say watch the NBA and tell me how that works out. This isn't the astros and there isn't a farm system of young talent learning a winning culture ready to come up. The talent is up and is learning a losing culture. It is more than likely that when these players do have success - it will be for other teams after we've sold them off for pennies on the dollar.

    Yep that's my feeling.
I'm really intrigued as to how Jabari will perform at the all star weekend. Maybe he's the next GOAT away from Silas.

EG was LOCKING UP Booker last night. He came off the bench at the beginning but he was in their ending lineup because Booker was having such a hard time on him. Happy to see EG thriving.

Sad but true. I wanted Silas to do good and I was optimistic. Now I just want him gone... I can't take even seeing his face anymore.

This thread is partly satire, for those saying it's only 2 games.

He is a factor, though, and I'm happy to see him thriving. He deserves it. I think we'll see a 30 point game between here and the playoffs. We all know that he still has it in him.

He's going to be an underrated addition to that team. He's better than the average NBA fan knows he is and they just need 20+ good minutes from him.

When the playoffs roll around we all know he's capable of playing great defense, spacing the floor, protecting the ball and attacking the rim when necessary. If Eric Gordon is your 3rd or 4th best defender in the playoffs then you should be an amazing defensive team.

It's too bad we waited so long to trade him. Clippers got a really good player for an expiring contract + moving down roughly 8 spots in the draft.

The pick is gonna be in the 20’s and it will be traded. It will not be possible to ascertain the real value of what we got for EG.

A 22nd pick is still much better than a 29th pick. Last year we got 2 2nds for moving from 26th to 29th

I watched the game against the warriors. And Gordon wasn’t a big factor. Clips were healthy and kawhi and George did their thing. It also helped that Curry didn’t playin have a tough schedule the rest do the way.
