Considering, I see us starting next years draft at 3 or 4... I know we have a lot to factor in...plenty of ammo, capspace, and the impetus to win while not sacrificing youth. ( Jarace IS young, but he's also too good to pass up) There are many possible outcomes. But, we'll be in a position, one way or another to scoop this guy up. JW's starting to make his move...living up to that high pedigree. Eat em Up & Go Rockets!
I was ok with Thompson at this spot before I realized that this isn't a place for players who need developing. Walker is still a little raw offensively but I take him over Thompson at this point. Although you may be able to trade down and get him at 7 or 8. Miller would be my first choice. Walker a very close second. If he can hit 3's at the NBA level I could see him being the 3rd best prospect in his class. Love his defense and attitude.

Rockets scouting team goes to warmups and finds whoever bricks 8-10 of their 3's and brings them on board.
I can dig it. Im also liking Brandon Miller. Preseason I was extra high on Cam Whitmore, but he's not really shown out like I had hoped. (we getting Wemby though )
I would be all for it provided the Rockets put an end to the tankathon. In their current form, where they are intentionally trying to lose they are almost unwatchable. Walker and other future U of H alumni deserve better. Get a new coach, start trying to win and I am all in on Walker becoming a Rocket.

Yeah, I originally thought we'd be able to nab hm at 7 or 8. Feels like he's really playng his way up the board though. I like Miller a lot too.
We need Sampson more than Walker but I'd love to have both. I'd also love for Sampson to get in Jalen's ass defensively to take Jalen to the next level.

Didlo, eh? I always pegged him for more of a buttplug. There is a pun in there if you're looking for it. As for the topic at hand, I love Jarace Walker. However, if we don't get one of Wemby or Scoot I'm just going to cry. We really need a franchise player talent in the worst way.
Walker is going as high as 3 in some mocks, if the Rockets pick in the 3-6 range Walker would be a fantastic pick. His offensive game reminds one of a slightly less polished Banchero, with his defense ahead of Paolo. His decision to play for Kelvin also demonstrates his desire to be challenged and improve.
