Duncan, Robinson and Wemby. They almost certainly deserve the guy , I mean that city is all about basketball. They don't have the stros to really fall back on. Henderson would be good here at 1 , I mean he seems to be the real deal at pg. I wouldn't mind if Houston missed out.

I would definitely mind missing out and the Spurs can go screw themselves...but I get what you are saying though.

Is this a trick question? Define "better". Better record for both teams would be the one with the lowest amount of wins.

The great Pop is in the running for worst record/team in the league? but I thought he had the Spurs competing and no great coach would have their team this bad

If the Rocket's squads switch with the Spur's squads, who finishes a better record, Silas or Pop?

Spurs will get Wemby no matter how the standings end. Adam Silver will guarantee it.

What makes you think Silver prefers Spurs over Rockets?

Silver isn't a fanboy. He's a money grubber. Big market Houston is of more use to him that Dirt Atonio.

That only makes sense if one or both teams aren't trying to tank.

The Spurs looked soooooooo bad. It takes a LOT for a team to look that shitty, and to do it against the Rockets? That was an impressive display of tanking. The Spurs just wanted it more. Houston ends up with the better record.

There is nothing about wanting it more. The Spurs putting out their best roster. No a 19 year old rookie averaging 10 ppg sitting out isn't tanking.

There is a reason why the Rockets and Silas get **** on more than the Spurs org by the national media. The Spurs org aren't in the phase of the rebuild the Rockets are at. The Spurs don't have a Jalen Green or Sengun or even Bari level ceiling player on their team. Hell I'll go as far as to say that the Spurs don't even have a KPJ ceiling player. They haven't gotten their lottery talent to build around yet.

This Rocket team is significantly more talented than the Spurs team and therefore why Silas gets **** on constantly.

In reality with the roster we have Silas is a far better master at tanking than Pop. The fact that he can have a worse record with the roster he has compared to the Spurs says a lot about our coaching and training staff.

Honestly I don’t think we get the number 1 pick if we don’t finish better than the Spurs. I think we do win 3 more games and the Spurs lose out

I suppose if that's tbe case and I tend to believe you're right...hes just going to be patient and start laying down the behind the scenes work to get Wemby to LA or NY eventually.

3 years in the lottery with the worst records! I definitely mind missing out on the first pick. I also do hate a feeling all along they will just gift it the the spurs. Screw their city

The CBA was about creating more FAs for them some would argue. That said, I think they might have to do away with draft compensation items because the Lakers shot their wad.

    Last 10: Pistons 1-9, Spurs 4-6, Rockets 5-5
    W-L: Pistons 16-57, Rockets 18-54, Spurs 19-53

Both teams playing to win now? Pistons sank / ascended to the bottom / top lottery spot.
