how about Chris Marcus? what happened to him? he was with Nuggets starting last season. but he could not make a team - are the injuries taken so much toll?
Steven Hunter is a good cheap option for this team. The guy may not have any offense(especially from the line) but he is very good at blocking shots. The biggest thing with him is it still allows us to sign DJ or MJ. Or Eric Williams if we trade for a PG.
Keon Clark would be nice if he is availiable. Dude is long but not sure if he can stay healthy after being out most of last season.
sorry guys but i greg ostertag signed with the kings i say the next best thing on the market would me keon clark or chris mimh http://www.nba.com/kings/news/Kings_Sign_Ostertag-114367-58.html
Steven hunter can block shots but he has one of the lowest BBall IQs in the league. There was an article on where teams should test hunter for ADD because he doesnt understand complex defensive schemes. He can block shots, but he loses his assignment alot and is late rotating alot.
We did not hear anything about him, he is probably our backup center in the making, his name is Patrick Ewing.
Well you should take a look at Fabricio Oberto, plays C/PF for the Argentina National Team. If you've seen the last world championships then you have seen a bit about him. Been playing for the national team for almost 10 years, and is now playing in Europe. Very solid low post player who can rebound
There was a poll on another basketball bbs about the worse player in NBA. I remember Diop got a few votes.
This was on espn.com's profile of Steven Hunter: "The trade sending Hunter, Drew Gooden and Anderson Varejao was not completed until Hunter, an unrestricted free agent, signed a contract with the Magic, the Orlando Sentinel reports. The trade could not work under NBA salary-cap rules otherwise. Despite needing front court help, the Cavaliers are expected to waive Hunter." So he'll probably be available then? IQ aside, if we can get this guy for cheap to come off the bench, I say lets do it.
