Middleton is a second guy to bring in if we land a big star. Makes no sense to pay him all that money at his age, especially with him not being able to stay healthy. We need to make a trade for a guy like Jaylen Brown if he decides to leave, not Middleton.. unless you wanna be a 10th seed every year
That was back on the 20th. Scoot hadn't played since then (January 17th game) because of the ankle until February 4th when he played about 7 minutes, and hasn't played since. Some had said he would shut it down for the rest of the season after the injury, but he did try to come back. It'll be interesting to see what he does going forward.
As of tonight, the bottom four teams have the exact same number of losses. Yeah, the final stretch is going to be insane.
We do not have assets for a Jaylen Brown…not even close. We only have Brooklyn’s picks. Brooklyn has the assets to get Jaylen Brown. We can only hope to get the 1st or 2nd selection in the draft for a Star or even hope we can over pay Van Vleet if we do not get the #2 selection.
Our Brooklyn picks are very valuable. Brooklyn has Bridges and a couple of guys with Potential and Phoenix picks which are going to suck for quite a while. I don’t think Jaylen Brown is a superstar, but if we wanted to trade for him we could put together a competitive package. Of course, there would be a lot more bidders for Jaylen than just the Nets and us. But if Jalen wants out and Boston wants picks we are a good trade partner. I’m not sure why the Nets would bundle Bridges and a bunch of their picks for a moderate upgrade in Jalen.
What would you guys be comfortable trading from 4 or 5 to 2 to get Scoot? I could see a team that doesn't need him (Hornets, Pistons) getting #2 so what would we trade? Clippers Pick + Our pick + a Nets pick?
I'd see where we end up first before we look at trade scenarios. Personally I'm not ss sold on Scoot anymore seems as much of an injury risk as Wemby.

I just don't see it in Henderson, RIGHT AWAY, he isn't the DUDE out of the gate. His G league stats are worse than Nix. 30mpg 17.7ppg 45.5 FG% 28% 3pt% 4.5 rebounds 5.9 Assists 3.5 Turnovers Assist to Turnover of 1,71 OFF RTG 116.9 DEF RGT 121.5 These are G LEAGUE stats..... If we draft him, and start him it will take at least 2 more years for him to become a good NBA player - he is not some all time great candidate.....too many people are "Shiny Object in the Stream" folks. Potential star and potential bust.... Give me the ones doing it in the NBA over him all day long. This draft for me is WEMBY or trade the picks....it is a 1 man draft for me. DD

Said same thing about Green, To me Scoot is a maybe, and he is 2-3 years away from that.....I would rather role with a proven NBA PG who is putting up better STATS in the NBA. Why? He has good vision and passing but he can't shoot, hasn't done that well in the Gleague...why will he be special? DD
thanks. I had no idea scoots stats were that bad. What stands out to me is the terrible 3point % also the assist turnover ratio. He really is a Steve Francis clone. Short, high leaper, terrible assist man,terrible outside shooter, possibly a allen Iverson clone but Iverson needed four good defenders around him to make up for his lack of height Hard pass. I think it is wemby or bust. I did like amen Thompson but so many people that watch him more than me are saying bust written on him so that worries me.
I think so many pundits get excited about potential, give me guys who are doing it on an NBA level - over guys that maybe one day might be good. I don't get the Henderson is going to change the league, he didn't do it in the Gleague why in hell would he do it in the NBA? I am fine upgrading our PG position, but if we are simply handing the keys to a guy that is probably 2 or 3 years away from whatever he will be....that is going to kick the can down the road again.....YUCK ! He has been up and down in the G League because of his injury this year. He is not the quickest point guard, but he is QUICK and STRONG. He can get his shot anytime he wants, getting to the basket or his favorite pull up jumper around the free throw line. He is a player that can press his WILL on a team. He did not play hard in this particular game but watch the entire game on YouTube when he played Wembanyama this year….I compare this guy to a young Derrick Rose or a young Westbrook…watch that game!
People get hyped over new toy but comparing draftday Green w draftday Scoot id take Green. Dont believe the hype
Green is a Star player, he is 6th in scoring as a Shooting Guard in the NBA …second year. Scoot is a much better player than Green. Green is a talented player but Scoot has something that Green does not have…..Scoot has heart and that KILLER INSTINCT in every game. You seen how he was looking during pregame today, he will break your neck to win a game and will not apologize…he has IT
