He didn't even have a bad game...he had a bad ending to the game -- but he actually he played fairly well. He's a defensive contributor as a rookie. That's pretty telling from a development standpoint. Even if he doesn't become a "star," his floor still seems to be ELITE 3 and D at 6'11".
Alpi is the best player; Jalen can be the best scorer (but needs to become more efficient). Jabari has the potential to become the best defender, and hopefully he will become a Robert Horry - esque 3-point shooter...needs to develop the "Big Shot Bob" gene.
Something is off with his shot. I know he can make them. It was his main selling point. Do the Rockets have a shooting coach on their staff, or do players hire there own people for things like that? if the Rockets are going to rely so heavily on 3-point shooting, you would think they would have someone who works on that. I've been pretty disappointed with Jabari's offensive contribution this year, but it's something that I think is totally fixable. Whether it's mental, or something that's going to have to be identified through film study, it's just something that will ultimately have to be addressed in the offseason. Hopefully, he can have a good finish to the year and come back with more confidence.
Am I misreading twitter or was Jabari running his mouth tonite about the Eagles? EDIT: I think I was misreading it. He was complaining about loud eagles fans on the streets outside the hotel before their game there tomorrow. Understandable.
basketball is not athleticism. Basketball is a sport played with the brain. If every athletic player could be good, Terrence Ross would be one of the best players in the NBA.
Hopefully not generational, the plan was to be to awful for 3 years, next year should be the pivot year back to respectability
Newb I have no idea of your weird response But Jalen is our best player , he’s going to get the max salary Sengun is number 2
you are a teenager aged 14-15 at most. Don't write empty comments. When you get a little older, you start commenting. your mental age is not advanced yet.
We are well on pace to have the worst record in the league for 3 consecutive seasons. That’s never happened before in league history. That’s what I’m alluding to. We have a really long way to go to get to respectability. Fingers crossed.
replace silas with anyone possessing common sense and avg intelligence and we win ~30games w/ this squad
LMAOOOO the false Euro equivalency is just freaking awesome to stumble into on a glorious Monday morning in the best city on Earth. Imagine waking up and trying to compare Jalen Green to Terrance Ross!! Its going to be a great week here on ClutchFans I can feel it!
At age 21 Terrance Ross averaged 6 ppg on 49% ts. Now those are numbers worthy of the "bust label". Green at 19 averaged 17 ppg on 55% ts. We e heard it all now. From Corey Brewer to Jordan Clarkson, to Terrence Ross. The hate for the kid is absurd.
Its more an insecurity thing from SOFs who need to exalt their guy as a perfect player. I feel bad for them since they so desperately need something positive right now, but to go to these lengths is just pathetic. I dont know why there needs to be a tug of war among the player cliques here - we need several of these guys to hit their ceilings to make noise and the way SOFs need to break down the other players around him in order to prop him up says it all.
lol buddy do you even watch the games? jalen is nowhere near senguns level..are you fearful sengun is threatening Hakeems sovereignty perhaps? what does talent even mean here? jalen is not more talented than sengun
he seems to be stealing minutes and opportunities from tari...if where they were picked was reverse nobody would ever notice jabroni and hed be out of league in 2 years
