What makes you think anyone would set up or work such a schedule? I do not recall that happening last year and we had a 6 man rotation for most of it. Don't go lookin for trouble where none exists.

I know almost nothing about the company, other than they were the company that ended up having to make restitution for Love Canal, which was one of the more famous examples of improper chemical waste disposal causing harm to a local population (though it was a company that they had bought that did the actual waste disposal). That's what I always think of when I see the name.

    Javier gets done.

Pena and Brown are a no. It's just too early, especially Brown, that would be absurd.

Framber is 50/50. If he's smart he sells high because I think the shift rule change brings him down from being an elite starter to a solid starter. That's a difference in "value" as perceived by the organization.

Tucker is the toughest call. Sure sounds like we are going to make an offer that is pretty difficult to turn down. Stay tuned.

    This.

Being a catcher is very physically hard and even more so mentally.

An outfielder can be somewhat on auto pilot as far as the mental
it will come down to what they offer them. Crane and Click’s idea of “fair” is likely different than Brown. So far I am impressed by how aggressive Brown has been.

Remember, Click wasn’t someone that Crane had confidence in. Brown may be able to talk Crane into offering more money.

Is it binary? Either 7.5 million or 5 million. Can the third party not decide somewhere in the middle?

    Had to look it up.

Michael Keaton is Batman. That is the only Michael Keaton I care about.

Agreed you can't compare the 2. I never saw 97 on the gun for Keuchel's fastball, nothing remotely close. Plus he never had a sinker the likes of what we are seeing with Framber. It's the mother of all sinkers.

But what likely happens is arbitration is avoided and the 2 sides agree to something in the middle.

Great. A name that brings to mind a drug that has killed thousands but in reality it's just a fossil fuel company with a checkered past and is one of the four largest contributors of greenhouse gases in the US.

I hate patches on uniforms. Occidental Petroleum and Credit Karma. Yuck.

When extreme ground ball guys go bad and can t drive the ball into the bottom of the zone anymore they go very bad. And that typically happens before 35. Maybe Framber is different

That's baseball arbitration. One or the other. If the arbitrator feels he's worth $6M in year one, he has to choose the one that is closest. Astros would be $1M low and Tucker's Agent $1.5M too high. The decision is Astros @ $5M. Arbitration values are not Free Agent values and were never intended to be so. But fans and some players agents don't understand that.
