He was on the cusp of greatness and now he has to run a gauntlet of superstars and play on a team and in a city nobody really cares about. The Rockets got lucky. But the picks still need to mature into high picks. Looks promising tho'.

He will be overrated though. Sports journalists already putting him and Kobe above Hakeem on the All Timer list. It's definitely coming.
KD is going to be a top 10 player for 4 more years easily. CP3 just needs to set everyone up which he's still good at. I don't think they're done if they don't win this year
That team is severely lacking defense and toughness. Wish they woulda kept either crowder or bridges. This is a league where you need wing depth. CP3 decline is real. Even if he's just setting people up on offense his defense is no longer good anymore.. KD is probably their best defender now and he's not even a great defender.
If he pushes the Suns to the Title, then I give him all the credit. They couldn't do it without him. And there are enough super teams right now you don't get a easy pass like the Bucks did.
Just need to be smart… trade up if necessary. Looking for another sengun pick up and a a wembayama or high upside lottery pick. In stone we trust.
People always devalue what KD brings to the table, similar to Lebron. Yeah he joins super teams so what? MJ also had a super team whenever he won a ring, dude couldnt even get past 2nd round without Pippen and Phil Jackson but everybody just glosses over that. Kobe had a 0.500 win team with Lamar Odom, prime Ariza and sane Bynum. NBA competition is pretty insane now there are a lot of good players and power teams, its not like the 80s/90s when the only team with 3 stars are Jordan Bulls and the rest of the stars are stuck on bad teams. If KD wins a ring it'll still count imo.
