It's so funny to watch Rockets' fans discount a potential move into the top 20 when you consider who've we drafted in that range (Sengun and Eason) v. who we've drafted late in the in first (Christopher, Garuba, TyTy).

Came back to the bbs after months of being away to say this:

Stone can Stone Cold Stunner on the draft for the most part but his ability to complete trades is pure ass.

Better than a 2022 late FRP, IMO, even with having to give up the Milwaukie pick and if the Clippers move the pick back 4-5 spots. Though, hoping it stays around 18.

Tari was one of the first assets coming from the Harden trade. Let the good times roll!

Hard to screw a top 2 and 3 pick, but somehow the jury is still out. Morey would have landed guaranteed stars that high.

Ehh I don't think this draft outside of the top 5-8 is that good personally. I hope I am proven wrong and someone really good slides to the Rockets. I fell this draft at the middle and bottom is not quite as good as last year or the year before.

So if I have this right, the Rockets could move up as high as a mid-first rounder with that Clippers pick swap and the salary they took on still comes off the books this summer just like EG's contract would've.

EDIT: Now I see that Wall is owed money next season. But the Rockets don't have to pay that if he's picked up by another team after they waive him, right?

    I’ve always wanted Danny Green!

No, we get to buy out Danny Green and John Wall (who has guaranteed money for next season) for the privilege to swap the Bucks first with a protected Clips first.

Clippers are within a 5 game swing of being anywhere between just 2 spots down from the Bucks, to being so low that it triggers the top 9th pick protections the Clips put on it. Could be a good deal, could be mediocre, time will tell.

The Warriors gave up on Wiseman.... 21 years old and the #2 pick a few years ago and all he gets you is a bag of second rounders.

Hell the Rockets got solid second rounders in their Fernando deal.

Watch Gordon start balling out and make the swap worthless.

I wonder how high the Clippers pick and KMJ gets you?

    Anthony Black maybe?

So Wall is owed 6.8M next year. I wonder how much we make him eat to get free.
