Pick swap EG and Bucks pick for a future 18-25 pick. Then swap that pick and KPJ for a lotto pick next year.

Gotta play the long game with that old 2nd rd pick.

I believe the biggest issue is that we start Green, Ego and KPJ all 3 ball stopping guys who want to shoot....The offense looks better when any one of them sit because it is more balanced.

We should mothball EGo there is no reason to play him he is in the way of KPJ, Sengun, Bari, and Green playing together.

    Time to go..Ego.

He never should have played a single minute this season.

They should have given him the John Wall treatment and told him they would try to trade him and if nothing materialized, they'd buy him out at the deadline. I expect the latter to be the ultimate conclusion- He's bought out and goes to the Lakers or 76ers for a minimum salary..

Send EG back to Indiana. And send KPJ and Lob Threat and Nix with him.

Waiving Nix does not solve anything. They already recruited two look-a-likes: Hudgins and Days.

Waiving Nix would prevent Silas from playing him

As for Gordon, I would rather buy him out than take back any kind of salary that carries over beyond this season. Trade him for picks as long as any returning salary is expiring.

I guess you missed the point. Waive Nix and Silas will field Hudgins. What is the difference?

I have no idea if Wiseman is a bust or not. But I do know that it takes bigs longer to develop. He had a decent rookie year and he’s been derailed by injury. He’s young and 7 feet tall with a lot of potential. He’s a legit developmental/reclamation project, but he only has one more year at $12. If we were a competent org, he’s the kind of guy we could trade EG for with an eye towards building back value and then trade him for more assets. But then again, he might be a bust.

the warriors have to trade Wiseman. He really hurts them on their lux tax.

Is he attainable? I think that may be an overpay for Gordon.

Ive just been reading that they are finally ready to deal him mainly because they don’t want to overpay on the luxury tax for players that aren’t in the rotation and they aren’t gonna extend him. It’s hard to know what Wiseman’s value is but I wouldn’t be opposed to including other assets if our scouts really believed in him.

But my understanding is that they need to trade him to a team with cap space so that they receive no salary back. Having him on the team gives them an astronomical salary tax hit, so swapping him out for other salary accomplishes nothing. I agree with the premise, but I don’t think we can accommodate the Warriors’ need.

I think you just get the best pick(s) you can and that's it. No reason to add a veteran or another reclamation project who needs minutes. Free agency will be a much better time to fill those gaps, once we know where we're picking in the draft. That's also a better way to do things because we don't want to trade into the same situation we're already in with Gordon. We want guys who want to be here and help mentor the young guys on a team that's just trying to climb into relevance.

I think you also have to keep your eye on any possible chance of moving up to get Scoot or at least Amen if we get screwed in the lottery. Might be a long shot, but the more picks you have to offer in order to trade up, the better the odds.

If nothing else, it opens up space for TyTy to get more minutes, the superior prospect they spent a first rounder on who actually has a future as a PG in this league. Christopher could benefit from more minutes as well, and he's done well with extended playing time in recent games.

I'd rather make a deal to acquire actual assets, but if you can't do that, I'd take addition by subtraction and freeing up playing time for better prospects.

Idk why is so difficult to grasp?

I certainly want more minutes for TyTy,Josh and Tari but the problem is not Nix. The problem is mentality. If they send Nix, they might give his minutes to his look-a-like: Hudgins.

In a sane organization you would already given those minutes to TyTy. Nix is not the reason, another apparatus to steal minutes from Rockets' upcoming stars.
