This is a fireable offense This LOSER comes in to take over for a young and budding franchise and instead of taking accountability for his shortcomings, he throws the entire team under the bus. YOU tell the team what to do. YOU’RE the coach. If they’re not doing what they’re supposed to, that’s on YOU if I don’t wake up to a “Stephen Silas Fired” tweet from Woj tomorrow I’m gonna be fuming
Silas really is like McHale. Clap clap play harder, silas is unlucky he doesn't have a player like harden yet to hide how incompetent he is at coaching
I’ve had basketball coaches like this. I’m sure we all have. Completely inept and totally incapable of delivering a message. Coaches aren’t just there for X’s and O’s, they’re there to inspire. They’re there to spark motivation. Serious question, have any of you ever been inspired by the frail pencil neck Stephen Silas? If you say you have you’re either lying or you’re a LOSER, just like Stephen Silas.
Yes I know, I watched the game! It was more me mocking the fanbois that keep saying Jabari plays "great defense". But just like Jabari wasn't primarily guarding Hueter there were a couple of times where he made Jabari look bad offensively AND defensively!! And there were a couple of times on switches where Murray did too. Just because someone's not your primary man doesn't mean you never end up on them!
Our youngsters are poster boys for the old adage of, "Stay in school." They play with little visible intelligence while making dumb passes, committing dumb fouls, taking dumb shots, and showing no indication they are learning from these mistakes. The NBA is littered with uber-athletic players who were dumb as rocks.
