    Elliott was very good until the late 90's. A strong argument could be made that the Rocket would have been better off. I don't know what the effect would have been by trading off Horry's clutch shot making and defense, but writing off Elliott as a downgrade to Horry and Bullard may not be the no brainer that some may think.

    Yeah he was very good before the knee injury and then the kidney issue concluded his season. I think it was the kidney issue that stopped the trade to Houston otherwise he would’ve been rocket

    Mini Hakeem would have carried anyone to a title. But Horry was Clutch. And Bullard automatic. Really, it should have been Harold Miner that got carried to the title.
