No. Wasting precious time for growth with a coaching staff who show's absolutely nothing will haunt us for years. Obviously they're tanking and I get it, but with all these young kids there has to be structure, accountability and REAL leadership. There has to be a system. An identity. At this time I don't see any semblance of one. If big changes are not made this off-season with the coaching staff AND the roster, Stone and Tilman will regret it for years and this era will haunt US forever. Gotta get it together.
Yeah it’s early to worry about being saddled with an underachieving Jalen on the max but Jalen is extension eligible in about 110 games. If we don’t max him after year 3 it will be a big statement. And based on what we’ve seen from him I’m not sure Jalen coming into year 4 to prove he’s a max guy would be the best thing. It really highlights why Silas needs to be gone yesterday. The clock is ticking to figure out what Jalen is and can be.
The only max player will be Sengun. No one will offer green more then 10 mio. Green with his 2/15 or 5/ 20 in 37 min with zero defense he is top 5 bust in nba history
You don't anything about basketball. "Top 5 busts" don't have more 30pt games than the entire rest of their draft class combined (and yes, that includes Sengun, who so far has done nothing to show he's a max level player.)

Name one player from the draft who get 35+ min from the start and so many shoots he likes so 20 or 30 or more coach dont bench him and let him free do what he likes name one player from the draft class. Only green is allowed to pkay bad no defense take do much shoots he like without get benched. If sengun or other player from draft get the freedom with unlimted shoots and playtime they would get 70 or more 30 pts games nothing special
a lot of jumping to conclusions here...i hear this every year...then it happens that jalen stumbles into a lucky streak of few games of shooting 3s at 40% clip and just like that he is a superstar again and his coach who developed him into a superstar is also staying lol fans are sooo gullible
sengun would be in MVP contention if hes allowed minutes , shots and leash of green.. and hed definitely be doing it on good efficiency, cause this is the only way sengun has always played, and he almost never ever takes bad shots
I can name plenty, but we'll just go with the top ones shall we? Scottie Barnes (ROTY,) Evan Mobley, Josh Giddey. All averaged over 30 mins in their first season and this, and he has more 30 pt games than all of them and another 56 players COMBINED. Nice try though. If he's that much of a bust, why is he outscoring them with ease even whilst playing badly?

I am basing this on overall team success, not just Jalen as an individual. He can go on whatever streak he likes, but if the Rockets are losing like they are now, then Jalen can get f---ked for all I care. I just want to see this team win.
yes but you also said 'next year when we get a new coach'... and we may never get one in time to even really check if jalen can ball or not... and right now we are held hostages to jalen green... and its a third year in a row now that this is the case.. because we tanked that first year to get jalen...LOL
