I only now realized how big the salary difference is between a no. 2/3 pick and the no. 16/17 pick.

Value-wise, our two no. 16/17 picks are incredible steals.

    Thank you, @Medicine N Music!

Some of you are going to look like complete DF's given time. Once Bari gets stronger, has a better coach, and team culture, he's gonna be solid on both ends. Sadly, if things don't change with the decision makers, it'll be with another team.

Some people expect top picks to all be 25ppg scorers and demand the ball in the 4th. Jabari will be a very good defensive presence for a playoff bound team someday even though he may never score 20ppg average on that team, his 10+ boards and 2+ blocks with some passing ability and clutch 3-pt shot may be the difference of advancing.

    Worst duo? Tough choices here.

Bball players. Jabari Sr / Jabari Jr

    Vs

    Head Coach - P Silas / S.Silas

Jabari with14.6% 3pt shooting in past 10 games, 18.4% in past 20 games.

I know Jabari playing good defense, but still wonder how this guy make himself be advertised as #1 pick player?

I think he just need an off season to correct his shot. He was too good in college.

You probably have Jaren Jackson Jr. in
    mind.

I think Jaren is the far better shotblocker and athlete.

    Attempts 4-5 treys a game.

Jabari will average more rebounds with a sweeter mid-range shot. I can only imagine JJJ's shot blocking with a deadly post up game.

Because careers aren't determined by a 10-20 game sample in their rookie season. Otherwise Kobe would've never gotten off the bench.

I could pick Jordan's worst 20 games in a row, put them in a youtube video and make him look like a bust.

Good point, he could be top of that tier, or even in the higher tier. My mood changes sometimes ;).

But they are determined by 20ish college games? (Some of those games he even shot horribly) Jabari has already played twice as many pro games as his college tenure. What is the real sample size?

Jabari Smith gives me Robert Horry Vibes…
Horry was a starter for the Rockets from day one, winning a pair of NBA titles in 1994 and 1995. He averaged 10.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocks in 295 regular-season games with the franchise
