Shout out for the J. Geils Whammer Jammer reference. Call and raise with Sonny Terry & Brownie McGee's "Hootin the Blues" with a little Pete Seeger banjo in the background. If you can sit still through this, someone call the undertaker, you're dead.

From the greatest album of the entire 1990's. No hyperbole.

And of course I HAVE to put a Police song in every one of these threads, since they are the greatest band in the history of the world. Short harmonica solo after the guitar solo.

Well no mention of all of Lee Oskar, Danish harmonica whiz of War! Pretty much in the top 5 harmonica players of all time

Any song (for the most part) by War but especially the album, The World Is a Ghetto.

Threw this in the Stros thread after the game last night, because "say goodbye, don't follow" seemed appropriate, and I'll post it here. 2nd half is also a great song to sing in the shower, I can pretty much mimic Layne Staley in there

The studio version it’s violin but Daltrey played harmonica live.

    ...Pink Floyd playing the blues...

or the live version, with no lyrics...

As much as I'm quite a fan of harmonica... I'm actually not a big fan of chromatic harmonica. I like diatonic harmonica very much. They actually sound very different to me and diatonic sounds much better.
