Hard top say such a thing, when you see Silas benching Sengun his first year. When you see Silas you best producing prospect on the bench without foul trouble. When you see Sengun dominating but with the short leash in the 4th quarter. They never anticipated how good Sengun could be, they were raving about KPJ feel good story, about saving him, having a future Harden for free... And now they look like f... Idiots as Sengun wills himself as a future all star, and everyone is noticing him. Incompetent coach by not playing him and not knowing how to play him, or incompetent front office by asking to favor KPJ... Or both...
Cant be more clueless than this...Its like saying this husband cant be maltreating and doing domestic violence towards this women because he's the one that married her and chose to spent life with her...lololol sengun haters and silas apologists are the greatest weirdos of all times
I wouldn't say kj developed the most, it just sengun is the only playmaker on the team who knows how to properly utilized kj strengths which is cutting to the rim. Sengun already has the skillset coming into the league, and like kj wasn't able to showcase it until kpj went out. polished via Turkish league just needed stamina and adjusting to the leagues plag style. Probably had a chance for ROY if he was utilized like he is now but silas wanted kpj to b da star. I think there was a good chance sengun could have this type of performance last season if given the opportunity Ironically I think Green developed the most if u were to compare him coming into the league and now he looks like a different player. Still needs more work though.
I agree on Green. As frustrating as his play has been he has definitely improved on the offensive side of the ball (stats don’t tell the story). When he tries, his on ball defense has improved. When he doesn’t try he should be benched. He gets completely lost on defense off ball. Not sure it’s lack of effort or experience, but he is by far the worst defensive player on the Rockets and maybe the league. After adding more muscle in the off-season, with his athleticism, he has a chance to be a two-way player. He will be an offensive juggernaut once he matures. If he doesn’t put the effort in to become a defensive player, he will never be the superstar he believes he can be.
Sengun came off the bench last year because of Wood. And this year the goal was to get Sengun as many touches as possible and let him initiate the offense which is why they wanted him to come off the bench to start the season. Sengun even said it himself, when KPJ's out...I touch the ball more. The Rockets front-office and coaching staff know that Sengun is a special player so I don't think they are intentionally trying to hinder his development in any way.
Whatevs. He just wants an all paid ticket to vacay in Turkey during spring time. Can't hate the playa tho
How can you guys have such little faith in a FO that DRAFTED the very same guy you've anointed our franchise player? Sengun didn't draft himself last time I checked
High hopes for this guy! Imagine him a couple years down the line. Quicker Stronger Smarter With more defined post moves Yikes
