Stroud just officially reported on IG that he’ll be with Athlete’s First. So Mulugheta is probably his agent.

If Texans give up anything for the #1 pick then Caserío needs to be fired immediately after the draft

No, just no. Let the Colts overpay and work the lines to pick-up more picks or take best defensive player at #2.

Lol I’d rather Zach Wilson for a 3rd/4th than spend a 2nd on Tanner

I see the merits of both qbs and I would hate to trade up for one and get the wrong qb

This is a down year in terms of the QB class. Try to find a Brock Purdy with a 3rd/4th round pick. Don't burn VALUABLE draft capital at the tippy top of the draft on the best of a sorry class of QBs. Would be a huge mistake.

I'm thinking sign the best fa center on the market and draft an OG/C in the 3rd/4th. Wouldn't it be great to finally have some quality depth on the OL?

How many times does a Purdy happen? Plus Purdy is surrounded by great talent and one of the best defenses in the league which means he doesn’t have a lot of pressure to score a ton of points.

I know there’s not an Andrew Luck or T-Law type of prospect, but I wouldn’t classify this as a down year. Last year was a down year. And the whole “next year is gonna be an elite class” idea is always really dangerous since there’s so much that could happen with Maye and Williams between now and next April.
Young, Stroud, Levis and Richardson may not be the best QB class ever, but I personally wouldn’t classify it as a weak class. Just my opinion though.

    Agree.
Purdy is not asked to put the team on his shoulders as it is a team effort.

When it's all said and done, I think Levis is likely the first QB off the board. Then Young, then Stroud.

I think in the NFL Young will be the best performer, though Levis has the highest ceiling, and thus could be the best. I think Stroud tops out as this years version of Goff.

I'm least excited for Stroud. I'd be fine with any of these kids, but Stroud would be my last choice, with Young being my first.

I'm on board with Derek - bring him in to mentor Mills and someone like Aiden O'Connell. Carr will be #1 with Mills as backup. I reckon Mills will be better with an improved team around him so no big worries there if DC goes down with an injury.
Taking Carr then allows you to do something like this in the draft:-
    #2 Will Anderson ED
    #12 Paris Johnson OT
    #33 Jalin Hyatt WR
    #65 Luke Wypler C
    #73 Calijah Kancey IDL
    #101 Daiyan Henley OLB
    # 174 Chris Rodriguez RB
    #186 Aiden O'Connell QB
    BPA the rest.
This upgrades both trenches and adds a couple of weapons and a flyer on a project QB.

That is precisely my point. I've been advocating for weeks to use our high draft picks to build a fortress of talent. Then we won't need a Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen to take us to the playoffs -- we can get by with less at QB, like the 49ers and Eagles are proving.

LOL. It is not a terrible year for QBs. You just don’t like the top 2. Wonder why?
