KPJ: Can someone explain to me why he has become Clutchfans favorite whipping boy?

He's always wrong and then ignores people. Someone who can't take take care of themselves physically will always embarrass themselves

With Gordon and Tate being out we depend on Tyty, Jaygup and Nix to playmake against a good team. What was supposed to happen?

 

Per this board, KPJ is the source of this team’s ills. Like Christian Wood last year, he’s this year’s scapegoat. People are overly critical of him and deserve to be called out.

It's just not reasonable to point to this game as evidence of KPJ not being the problem.
It's a fact that no one called for Nix to replace KPJ.

We could just as well be playing Boban as a PG and it would just as well be irrelevant as to what impact KPJ does or does not have on the team.

Once you see a decent player in place of KPJ taking the minutes, you can assess if KPJ was the problem or not.

Nix had played 8 minutes. He’s not the reason we’re getting blown out. We’re a better team with KPJ, period.

 

Nix, tyty and jaygup are our guard rotation in addition to JG tonight.

Again, replace KPJ with a competent player and look at the results.

Killian Hayes was a terrible player efficiency wise for a good portion of the year but I could argue the pistons are a better team with him, were his replacement Daishen Nix.
