He's going to pop off in one of these upcoming games and all these dudes hating are going to lose their **** about how great he's going to be. This is literally a kid, playing against the greatest basketball players in the world, that they're hating on.
I think there's a lot of overreaction here Jabari will probably go 4-10 tonight to prove all the doubters wrong
Defense is there, hopefully he figures out what his role is on offense. All these injuries, doesn't help him either.
Needs to get stronger - doesn’t have the legs to play hard on D and then bang on O and pull up …All Star break will do him some good
He’s a 7 foot 3 and D guy who has the form but none of the percentages to justify the 3 status yet. That guy is still hugely valuable in this league. He’s not failing because of work ethic or attitude. Still making rookie mistakes in terms of switching on D, and his confidence in his shot is toast. He’ll be the #1 candidate I point to at a complete 180 turnaround in his performance once we get a new coaching staff and are unabashedly trying to win once again. Not selling his stock whatsoever
I don't even know what this means. Gallinari wasn't a good defender. Smith is or can be. Smith can't really shoot yet. Gallo could. Basically they're both the same height and can't dribble. Otherwise not that similar. Great.
He needs to spend all off season finding his stroke and the rest will work itself out. He’s going to be a nice player one day, but right now he’s just not there yet.
Straight ass shooter. Improving defender but underperforming expectations there on the whole so far. my biggest disappointment is that it’s taking away minutes from Tari who has real potential
Jabari's shot will come with time. I like how he played tonight overall. I like how this team plays with Lucas coaching. It just feels like a different team even if they suck.
I'm a Jabari fan. But I'm starting to lose faith. He's shooting at Corey Brewer level. I know I'll regret this post one day...
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. He's actually shooting just a hair below Westbrook's career percentage. He'll need to extend his streak of consecutive missed threes (currently 12) up to 27 to catch Corey Brewer. I, for one, believe he can do it!
Jabari has a problem. He has not shoot well in the summer, or in the regular season. At least Jalen had some big games in the first half last year, so you could see glimpses of his talent. Jabari is a very arrogant player and I do not see anything from him but length. I know Sengun is our 3rd Star, Jalen is our 2nd Star and we are waiting on the draft for Wemby or Scooter for our #1 Star. If we do not get a Star out of the draft, we need to trade our picks, Jabari, KPJ and Martin for a #1 Star. Honestly, Tari was better than Jabari in the Summer League and now in the regular season. That was a bad draft for us.
Still too early friend. Lots of all stars have had sub par rookie seasons. But I agree, Jabari needs to knock off his cocky act and get his ish together
