Think what the Bills GM said about Chase has an element of truth in it that needs to be addressed.

Teams can really only afford one great skill player these days.

    AJ Brown
    Tyreke Hill
    Davante Adams

All lost. Primarily due to affordability. It's hurting the game and teams that worked hard to create an identity can't afford to keep it. You basically need a valuable rookie contract in order to have the kind of star power that Cincinnati has. And that to me is a shame after all the hard luck and good fortune it takes to get these players in the first place.

It almost seems like they need an extra bubble cap for skill positions allowing teams to hold onto franchise length players and still pay them what they deserve.

Seems whiny. Perhaps he shouldn't have traded for Diggs and could instead have used that pick on Justin Jefferson and had him on a rookie deal.

Higgins, Boyd, and Mixon were 2nd round picks, so any team could have drafted them. Hurst was a low 1st rounder, so almost any team could have had him (not drafted by Cinci). Bengals simply invested a lot of draft capital in skill players and got a QB that could maximize them. I suspect when it comes to renewals, they'll try to keep Burrow/Chase/Higgins and let the rest walk and try to replenish again using the draft.

    Predictions:

Bengals win by a touchdown or more. (Mahomes relatively immobile. Burrow too much in a groove.)
Eagles win by a touchdown or more. (Niners haven't been playing that well -- see Raiders game and last week versus Dull-ass.)

We get not very tense conference championships.

    Stone cold locks.

49ers and Bengals. Repeat of Super Bowl 23 in 2023.

Can't believe they didn't hire Wilks. He did everything you could have asked for. Hope he gets one of the open jobs.

Bold Prediction: Cincinnati's backup quarterback Brandon Allen will call the coin toss and will try to lose it on purpose.

    Eagles 30 49ers 13
Bold Prediction: “Go Birds” T-shirts will be placed on every seat inside the stadium creating a sea of green, but Joe Montana will be spotted running his hand though his hair and wearing a harry potter sweater.

Pat M shows why he is the best QB in the game and unloads 4 TD passes and then drives down in the last minute to kick a game winning FG.....last team with the ball wins

    49ers 21 Eagles 17
Purdy plays dink and dunk with CM and DS and lets the superstars get huge YAC plays

Wow, Tua is still in concussion protocol -- I think I'd take an injury settlement and retire.

KC may be faking Kelce's injury, but we all saw Mahomes get hurt. If it is a high ankle sprain, then he is not going to be mobile. If both aren't at 100%, the Bengals roll. Eagles look unbeatable, but SF has a lot of talent throughout the roster. Too close to call, but I am leaning SF.

I was neutral about the AFC championship game but Bootsy collins has convinced me.

The stupidest part about his take is that Josh Allen was taken at pick 7 and Jamarr Chase pick 5...... right buddy.
