I think Tari could be but he's getting the Sengun treatment. Barely playing at all. Makes no sense cuz when he plays he stuffs the stat sheet.
Yeah but we lost! Not putting all on him, Jalen just does not hustle, EG turns the ball over, Jabari cant shoot, Alpi doesnt play good enough defense to man the paint AND it all leads up to losing....FACT!
Sengun and KJ will make a few million dollars more on their next contracts simply by knowing each other's games.
I'll have some of what you're having. I don't think the Sengunatics are EVER going to be silent. I think they are here to stay.
Sengun having great games like this is not going to silence the Sengunatics. It will only silence his few remaining critics aka the dumb list people.
Sengun doesn't HAVE critics. Only Sengunatics have critics. By the way, you might be interested to know that I am officially a SENGUNATIC. Confirmed in last night's game thread by this guy:
it makes perfect sense.. nba is a huge bureaucracy.. the interests of bureaucrats are different than that of the people or fans in this case... fans are naive in imagining GMs, coaches and players dreaming of wining, and losing sleep over their team or individual players 'not doing good' just like the fans...no....doing good is defined different in their minds, they only care of their little nepotistic interests... this is in fact a daily job for them and L/W doesn't affect their pay as directly as fans think...they could care less of wins losses or giving the right guy(from fans perspective) right minutes ...the right guy in his view is perhaps the one that he has the best relationship with his agent or that knew his daddy and he owes him money or a favor... they also just love to play safe because promoting an unproven guy with potential sometimes can be risky and get him fired...so they prefer to thread water and play safe remember that Kid promoted Giannis into PG but he still got fired...and the one who came after took all the credit for that key improvement
The problem is he won't accept his role off the ball. He thinks he's a superstar hence the "head honcho " comment. If he'd be a 3 and D player my opinion of him on the court would change. He's too selfish though unfortunately
the fact is Sengun is the MVP, not the superman, if they played more through him offensively and defensively we would have won. so, all in all, cant blame a good player for his teammates being selfish bb iq challenged ignoramuses
cant help but imagine what will be the reaction when we start ALP at PG in a few years, or some other team, and we start thinking back and realize it wasnt a rockets science ...all it took was just a little common sense and thinking outside the box...but bureaucrazy is never interested in doing favors to a common man...
This is what I don't get. KPJ has always been a SG, the PG thing is an experiment. Not sure why he would have issues just going back to playing SG again
I don't disagree that he's selfish but I think his biggest problem is that Silas enables him. We need a stronger personality as a coach who won't put up with his crap. And if he still plays the same way we can cast him off.
It would be interesting if he could play SF. He's big enough on today's game and if he was willing to accept the role he'd probably do well. Even coming off the bench. It doesn't really matter who starts it's who finishes. The problem outside of his attitude is Silas and Stone tried to make him "head honcho " when he just isn't that guy. He has proven time and time again he can't handle responsibility
I 200% agree. Silas is such an awful coach and he decided to be so emotionally invested in KPJ it's really hurt the team. We need a Popovich type here. JVG would have been good as well. Outside of Sengun we aren't seeing results because there isn't any accountability. If KPJ was still on the court dominating the ball it's unlikely we would have got to see how good Sengun is
