Ariza was athletic and would routinely dunk on players. Or are you talking about washed up Ariza cause I would agree on that.

Jabari has been consistent all year. Just not the good consistent.

He sure played like a 3rd round pick today.

    I have faith in a bounce-back soon.

    ..maybe?

A high level role player seems to be his ceiling. If can average 14 pts, 9 boards and shot 37% from 3, Jabari will have a long career in the NBA. Whether or not that was worth pick 3 is extremely debatable.

Jabari is 4 years away from being ready to play in the g league.

As I said on draft night, Jabari Smith is a terrible pick at #3 and his ceiling is a role player at best.

He was only drafted high because Orlando smokescreened the league, and trash analyst with zero basketball IQ trash analyst like Kevin "Kilian Hayes #1 Player" O'Conner were pushing him up all season.

If his shooting ever reaches Ryan Anderson levels, with his defense and switchabity he would 100% be worth the pick. Right now, he’s shooting like Corey Brewer and I’m not exaggerating

Jabari's 3 point % is equal to Sengun's. It seems This guy has lost his confidence. This summer he has to work hard, otherwise there is no future for him in NBA

He hit a shot in the 4th quarter tonight where he was fouled and had no choice but to throw it up. I think it's all mental with him. If he alone was struggling I think it would be easier for him to come out of it. But the team keeps losing so the pressure builds on everyone. Too bad we can't send him down - too bad of a look for all involved at this point. He needs a hard reset in summer league with a new coaching staff. Also, there will be less pressure next year with another top pick on the roster. Regardless, can't give up on him now. He's just a kid playing on a team that's bad by design.

He needs to learn how to share the ball. He’s taking shots he should be passing. Especially when you haven’t shown you can hit a shot consistently.

No kidding - not too many players whose shot doesn’t translate to the NBA from college. JJ Redick had a slow start, but a Chris Paul really helped him flourish. Adam Morrison vibes…

He plays like a 45 year old - in that he has 2 or 3 good games a month.

How sure are we that he is actually jr??
Jabari Sr may have had a severe face-lift, and is masquerading as his son on occasions?
It would make sense of the old man running, and the shot being off so frequently!!

He's very generous with sharing the ball but half the time sharing it with the opponent

I feel he will come around with a couple seasons under his belt with confidence being the main thing because he is snake bit right now with his jumper, but only 19 so I expected a crawl phase but I didn't foresee his jumper being this off

But at least he hasn't let it affect his overall defense/energy etc

JG and Jabari, overall, have not exceeded expectations. It has been a rough go of it.

I still believe in both of them. Hopefully, we draft a stud and find a coach this offseason that makes it all make sense.

I think that is because he isn't touching it much.
