KPJ: Can someone explain to me why he has become Clutchfans favorite whipping boy?

I am pretty sure most people notice that Harden has been leaning a little more as a facilitator than scorer as this point of his career, but most people may not notice why the transition has been so smooth without any spikes. The answer is simple, Harden was a great passer in the first place and he was forced to be a scorer in Houston because nobody else scored as efficient as he did. KPJ, on the other end, is not a good passer. He treated passing as his last resort. I'm not getting into pass first or shoot first guard arguments because shoot first guards are not necessary the problem. The problem is that if you are not a good passer in the first place, when the opposing team sent a couple of players to trap you and that would be an automatic turnovers because you don't have the skill to safety retreat the ball to your teammates. The KPJ's PG experiment has been ongoing for over two years, yet KPJ still cannot make a good entry pass. He did well for lobs, credit is where credit is due, but those lobs can hardly justify his turnovers. I like him as a player, and I think he plays better than Jalen this season for a pretty healthy margin. He's always looking for steals and at least trying to play defense. I think he's being misused like most other players on our team. He should be a point forward, a catch and shoot guy, instead of a PG, or he would be better coming off the bench considering our bench units are just, very sad.

Jalen Green - a career high 42 points on 25 shots…41 points 2 games ago

    Sengun - 21, 7, and 7

they are significantly better without KPJ

if the FO can’t see what needs to be done, they are simply incompetent

Nah nah according to kpj stans only reason y our youngsters do well is b/c they needed to step up their game since the head honcho went down. It's not b/c they play better w/o kpj or anything like that

If KPJ was playing tonight, you best believe he would have jacked up at least 4 bad shots in the 4th, while every time he get the ball he would pause and either dribble it or pass it 2 seconds later than he should killing the offensive rhythm.

The ball movement on one of the possessions late in the game was a thing of beauty, and it wouldn't have happened that way with KPJ in there.

I think they are, otherwise how can you explain making KPJ the head honcho in the first place? So there’s that.

I am impatiently waiting to see posts from either of the two idiots who want to trade Jalen Green.
No one has seen them around here, right?

updated stats since KPJ’s been out

    28, 4 and 4 for Green on 47/39/70 splits

    19, 11, and 7 for Sengun on 68% shooting from the field…he’s averaged 15, 9, and 3 with KPJ
