I sure wouldn't read message boards if I was a pro! The only players or staff on OUR TEAM that don't get hatred here are pretty much Yao Ming and now T-Mac.
Wrong again. Ming gets chewed up here too. TMac hasn't played a game yet. Just wait until we lose a game and he shoots an 8 for 26 or something like that.
I like your enthusiasm, but I think you're flat out wrong. We aren't one piece from a championship run, and even if we were that piece sure as hell isn't Damon Jones. He's part of the last of some already slim FA pickings for a reason, he's average. Time isn't running out on this championship, it's just started actually. Don't ruin it by being impatient and signing the wrong pieces just to sign them.
Wrong again. Every player on our roster gets hatred, even guys like weatherspoon get bad comments directed their way. Management, the PA guy, heck even our mascot who I find amusing, Clutch, gets crap. I'd say, the only one that doesn't get any hatred, is the water/ towel boy. But, that's probably because he doesn't get noticed.
I didn't say we were one piece away. We are several pieces and the PG is one of them. Yeah, he's average. But of what is left on the FA market he is the best of the average. You want Ward for vets minimum? I'd rather have D. Jones for a couple mill.
Do you really think we could get Jones for just a couple of mil? He has had what 1 good season(no really ... I don't know)? Isn't he a 28 yr old journeyman? I went to the espn web sight but couldn't seem to find him under Jones. If we do get him, I hope its for short and cheap. I would hate to get another Moochie.
