Doesn’t matter. You pick Wemby at 1 regardless.

Yes, a SengunYama frontcourt would work, and it will be amazing.

This has like an 80 something percent chance of being an irrelevant topic.

Has Silas been fired yet? IS Stone still GM? Has the owner sold the team yet?

    Then no.

Don’t see why not since Jabari and Wemby can play sf or pf on both offense and defense.

Then that means Jabari Smith moves to Small Forward?

    Of course it can.

Wemby has amazing help side defense
Both players know how to pass the ball
Wemby can post up well, but prefers to play offense around the perimeter

We'd really benefit from an offense like Sacramento did with Webber/Divac with those two

Now, will Wemby/Sengun/Smith work? Yeah, I believe so. Smith can play the 3 with two play making bigs.

It's good. If four guys on the court can be consistent perimeter threats which I think between Green, Wemby, Smith and whoever is pg(hopefully KPJ figures it out but he definitely will develop into a consistent shooter at the very least), Sengun doesn't have to expand his game outside that much as that still is a lot of floor spacing with Sengun being dominant in the paint area with his scoring and passing.

I'd say Wembanyama is actually a similar level passer as Sengun. The passing between those two would be amazing.

    I think that's the only way Sengun could flourish in the NBA. A lineup of;

    C - Sengun
    F - Wemby
    F - Smith
    G - Green
    G - KPJ

Would coverup Sengun and Green defensive ineptitude. If they dont get Wemby I would look to trade Sengun or Green.

What about Tari? We have to find a place for Tari in Sengun-Wemby-Bari set-up. You can't keep Tari level player as back-up permanently.

    Thus,
    Henderson
    Green
    Eason
    Smith
    Sengun

is better option in long term.

More decision makers has been Thunder's blueprint. Sengun and Wemby fits that.

Think Lachard and Vator's concern is defensively do you keep Sengun as C defensively or move him to PF.

I guess what I'd say that, let's see if Alp continues to develop. Team is still in BPA mode, and we're so far away from deep playoff contention that by the time we get there more than half the roster will look different. Even as someone who enjoys good slug fest defense, league is swaying towards more offense than defense. Rocket's defense is still bad, but just have to get it to league average and if our team is bad at both OFF and DEF, can get OFF back on track first.

Same goes for Green and Jabari, both those guys have to raise their defensive floor. Since they're young, it's a wait and see. As we seen with the Gobert Jazz, a defensive Center can't erase below average defensive guards and wings.

Instead of worrying about the two front court fit, let's keep stacking talent when possible, Lord knows we don't have enough of that right know. L streak 12 and counting.
