I still think Gannon is the front runner…and that’s okay as long as he gets the right OC in here. I’d be good with Gannon/ Reich.

I don't like Gannon. He might have good knowledge of the game, but I just don't think he's going to be a good head coach. Demeco has character, better leadership, and has a lot of passion coaching. I would like the Texans to hire Demeco, if not, then Sean Payton.

Ryans and Payton aren’t coming here.

What player in this draft picked at 1-12 would impact the Texans org more than Payton as HC would?

I think the board is worried about getting sloppy seconds like they've gotten with the last two HC's.

Depends on if the new OC was able to add a couple of weapons in the draft to go with a new QB.

Placing a sentimental premium on ex texans is not a good way to do business, even if the thought of it makes us happy

The Broncos flew out to meet Ryans. He didn’t come to them,

He was the fall guy for Zach Wilson being a horrendous pick at qb.

    Do you know Gannon?

How often have you seen Gannon to come to this conclusion?

The reason I ask is that I dont think I've ever seen Gannon in a game situation.

He's done a very good job with the Eagles defense this yr.

A lot of assumptions being made here on both sides. I’m not a fan of looking at it this way.

I would trade Charles Rogers or Ryan Leaf for Sean Payton in a heartbeat, but I wouldnt trade the Saints the number 2 pick for him just bc there have been some horrendous busts.

Payton is going to cost more than money, the draft compensation disgusts me. For a team with so many needs it’s borderline malpractice. I could get over that, but we don’t know what he’s going to look like as a HC here, if he’s gonna be here more than 4 years, and a whole lot of other factors.

I agree that a great HC is worth a ton, I just have questions about how great he would be.

I would give up 1-12 for Payton, but no more than that.
