Same for the other stars on that team. Embiid isn’t carrying that team by himself to a ring.
It’s pretty evident that the more pieces you have performing well the better the team success is.

Other "stars" on the team? You mean Harden?

Regardless of what you're trying to argue, if Embiid is being single covered, he should get the ball.

Sengun's stats, at 20, are very comparable to Jokic at 23.

I will say what I always say about Sengun: Dude was the MVP of the Turkish league at 18.

I would be totally fine at this point with trading Green, Smith and Porter and starting over with Sengun and Victor or Scoot and a real head coach, at this point.

This team needs a culture change, and we won't get it without a new coach.

If you've noticed, Sengun's dominance has more to do with Porter's absence than anything.

To be blatantly honest, Sengun is the only reason I still watch this team and occasionally go to a game. If they're stupid enough to trade him that will probably come to an end. I'll stick to watching the Astros. I can't imagine having to watch another year of KPJ embarrassing himself

I am very curious if Porter will defer to Sengun more and become a secondary playmaker rather than primary when he comes back. Of course if it goes back to the way it was a lot of the blame will fall on Silas. I am not a huge KPJ fan at all but Silas is the one who has him thinking he is the "head honcho". How he handles the realization that he will NEVER be a head honcho will determine his future here.

KPJ is fine young man and if they cant make him, inspire him or whatever, to make the changes its game over for the team anyway. So either he or the coach will need to go. KPJ has a fine game, he just needs a better coaching to be an above average NBA player.

Patience on offense is the key for Sengun. He has a one legged jumper in his bag. He needs to increase his range. He's capable of doing that. His defense needs to improve a lot. Switching will always be a problem for him. Yao got better at it with time. Yao is quicker than Sengun, I admit. Perhaps, Alperen will get better at it too. I would like to see him after a couple of more seasons under his belt. Don't give up on him, is my advice to Stone and Tilman.

What about Kobe and Green's stats in their second year? Or Mcgrady and Green?

Or Wade and Green's stats at age 20?

Or MJ and Green's stats at age 20?

    Maxey? Harris?
Maxey is better than any guard on our team.
    Note, I didn’t say superstar.

He won't. And that's not on Porter but the management and Silas. Even players who have much lesser roles than KPJ and much less 'potential' do not recognize fully that Sengun is the guy to make decisions on the floor. They think they can try to create something and that is okay. The games without KPJ, Sengun must be like a pg in the half court offense. Ball should go to him, just like it goes to the pg and the pg makes the decisions. So if lesser guys have the freedom to ignore Sengun, sure KPJ does, and he will.

Of course it will not be as the old times, becsue Sengun established himself. But there will also be more tension. Because there is nobody to set the pecking order in the right way and reality does not match what the coach enforces. And a young guy like bari maybe too obsessed with being one of the top drafted needs a reality check, which he is not getting.

I don't think Bari has a major character problem. It is good to be hard working and ambitious, he just needs some more direction. These are all very easily fixable with the right coaching attitude. When you don't have it bad habits and bad atmosphere spreads like cancer from top to bottom.

Maxey? He averages less ppg than Green on like 2% higher ts% while being older, having a lot more of his buckets assisted than self created and having God damn Harden and Embid on his team spacing the floor properly.

You think Green would be taking all these contested off the dribble deep threes that are tanking his efficiency recently on a team like the Sixers where you have Harden and Embid?

Hell KPJ has a higher ceiling than Maxey.

You said "star". Neither Maxey nor Harris are stars.

    This is just stupid.
Maxey is the third guy on that team. A career .395 3 pt shooter and averages 4 assists in a team with Harden. On top of that, he’s in another category all together defensively than either of them.
Maxey would be the best player on this team right now.

Maxey is a star. Harris is a great offensive player. To say any different is dumb

Lol. This is absurd. Do you know what happens when you have teammates like Harden and Embid?

Spacing. Easier looks. Dude barely is more efficient than Green(Ts% is the totality of efficiency, not just 3pt percentage) with a a significantly higher percentage of his makes being dimed by his teammates than off the dribble.

On this jumbled mess of a offensive system he would struggle A LOT more.

You think Green is a poor dribbler? He might as well be Kyrie as a ball handler compared to Maxey.

It blows my mind how underrated Sengun is as an athlete. He isn’t Luis Scola.

If Maxey is a "star", how would you classify guys like Derozan and Lavine?

You obviously have no idea what you’re talking about.

    Here’s some data for you.

Yao was not as quick as Sengun. Wtf? He’s a lot bigger obviously so him being slower is understandable
