I think there's still some people who would buy into the Jalen Green hype right now.... which is why we should trade him while he still has some value if he doesn't accept a bench role.
Harden actually had the same skill set when he was drafted, he was the pg running the 2nd units in OKC and just got a longer leash here in Houston. And nobody has said Sengun had no ability to create offense with his play making ability, way to just be flat out wrong and create strawmen. Harden developed into an MVP because he was entrusted to do more of what he had actually shown the ability to do.
Why would we trade Green if Alpi is foundational? You keep the players that compliment Sengün: KJ Green Jabari Tari That is our core and we build around it.
Because Green is terrible at basketball and doesn't compliment Sengun at all because he can't play off ball due to not being able to shoot worth a damn and he's the worst defensive player in the league. Honestly, no matter what Sengun does, the team would be better off either benching or dumping Green and going the rest of the way with KPJ KJ Tari Smith Sengun All of those players are MUCH better compliments to Sengun, Smith is near worthless on offense, but he gives the team a boost on defense and covers for some of Sengun's worst matchups. You then see what you can do to improve on that in the next draft.
Just when you think people can't get more hysterical. Keep it up gang so I can get a couple of center court good Rockets tickets for $20 a piece
KPJ doesn't play well with the team period. He would be better(as well as Green) if the team wasn't so iso heavy. And Green definitely would be better running off screens than trying to create. That has more to do with coaching than Green.
Sounds like he needs a Mickey in his corner to turn this bum into a lean, mean fighting machine! Someone queue the Rocky Anthem!
You're already viewed as a joke on CF but I predict there will be a gold mine of your posts to dig up in a few months/years once Green develops into the player he has potential to be which we can use for endless laughs.
I don't think I have inserted a lot of opinions at all. Green is regressing when it comes to shot selection and letting the game to him. Sengun has taken a step in the opposite direction. Both driver metrics (shot location, %assisted) and actual results (TS%) back that up.
Not when you CLEARLY speak in final terms as @Bobbythegreat does and did. CLEARLY the 41 point 7 assist night Jalen had last night is proof that he will forever be a non-playmaking chucker. Great timing and job guys! 7 thumbs up!
I was talking about Jalen’s (lack) of playmaking ability… at least according to the pundits here, way to try to make something out of nothing.
Congratulations on Jalen finally having a good game. Hopefully going forward he'll have at least one of them a month.
