If we get Victor Wembayana nothing he said will matter. Players will definitely want to come play with us.

It's amazing how Houston has two of the most inept organizations that are dysfunctional in their own ways. The Rockets have made tanking into an art form to the detriment of player development, but will most likely not get the #1 pick. The Texans meanwhile completely suck from top to bottom only to get a meaningless win on the final game and it cost them the #1 pick.

Maybe having teams owned by self proclaimed bidness geniuses who hand over control to their kids is maybe suboptimal.

Over half this forum have been crying on how much Gordon sees the court, then John Wall comes in and says Stone wanted Silas to give wall’s minutes to tHe youngsters and now your upset Stone wants to give the young folks on this team playing time instead of hog ball Wall and that upsets you. What nonsense. Stone laid out his plan from the start. Suck for 3 years playing teenagers and saving cap space. Now, Wall has been vocal and the league is going to punish the Rockets for tanking, even though 4 or 5 other teams are doing the same thing. Bring in a new coach and a couple of vets next year and the real re-build begins.

Embarrassing for the Rockets, but Wall wasn't willing to give up salary either to get free.

John Wall: 11 points on 10 shots, 40% from the field, 30% from 3pt land, 68% from FT line.

Yeah we really held you back buddy.

Smith - Career high, improved layups, improved driving / dribbling , improved passing off break …. ( not developing )

Sengun - Career high, improved rebounding , improved staying out of foul trouble, Triple Double… willingness to take the 3 .. ( not developing)

Green - Improved ball handling, Improved reads off PnR , while shot selection is still up and down .. but ( not developing)

KJ - Improved ball handling / driving ability , Improved 3pt shot ( not developing )

If all you look for is negatives then that’s all you will see… if you expecting wins when the Rockets are just 2 games from falling out Top3 lottery position (see what idiot Texans did) then that’s on you.

The top tier rookies might not want to come here.

Might? I don't think they do at all.

Regardless, if the Rockets don't get Wemby....all of these hardship will have been pointless. That's 86% likely

So you are more worried about OKC getting a top 15 pick than the long term future of the Rockets?

    Sounds about right for you.

Wall is a washed up scrub who was whining about not getting to play.... he wasn't good enough to play.

In his mind he was the best player on the team because he has an embarrassingly low BBIQ chucker mentality.
