Nobody can do better than John Wall when you get the shiit treatment. When he was here, no drama, no complaint.
it was never about harden, the rockets were gonna always be hated by the media . The only difference was we were hated and won with harden compared to now just being hated and sucking
what sucks is that wemby will come here with a bunch of players who have either regressed, stagnated or marginally got better.
The conspiracy theorist in me laughs that the rockets will get the top pick with the **** show we have been putting out there in conjunction with Wall's interview.
Do you guys like it when a GM meddles in what should be the coach's/ manager's duties? I don't know how to feel about it. If it's the Deathstar(Luhnow) I don't mind. If it's Caserio, who hasn't won anything, I'd have a problem with it.
fck Rafael Stone this organization is a joke, and so is tanking…and shame on anybody who’s ok with this because they’re obsessed with lottery balls
And that’s a best case scenario. The odds are we end up with #3 or #4, added to a core of undisciplined, undeveloped players. we need a new coach with the clout to call his own shots, who has a track record of success. If we can’t develop our own players we’re not going anywhere.
Imagine if Harden said such things "Man . .. I come back and the deal they make was for a broken down Wall and a Booger Cousins . . .. I'm suppose to take this **** to the championship? I ain't wanna just make the playoffs!!" Wall would be tart as hell . . .and half the board would crucify him. Rocket River
If we get Wemby, we'll get our pick of any coach we want. Coaches will be begging their agents to get interviewed by the Rockets. If we don't get wemby, no coach that has any desire to compete/win will want to be here. Stephen Silas is shameless and obviously a front office agent but I promise you if he could re-do things, he would have waited for another opportunity. He was actually at one point desirable by a lot of teams lmao.
Personally, I don't think so. I love Scoot and would be so happy with him as the 2nd pick. But the culture is so bad here that you need someone that's a once in every 20 years player to overcome how bad it is right now. Ideally, you get a guy like Quinn Snyder until he wears out his welcome. At least you know he'll build good habits and he can make players listen.
Stone has been either meh or bad. He's never really done anything great. It doesn't seem right that he dictates mpg for players. What the hell does the coach even do?
