Going back to Tate's rookie season, the efficiency of the offense when he was the primary ball handler was insane. The team converted on something like 73% of the possessions that Tate was the initiator.

No, he's not a point guard in the modern sense but he is a point guard in the traditional sense in that he gets the ball into the half court and gets it to guys in spots that they are comfortable shooting from .... or he gets in the lane and finds a way to get a shot off.

If he can improve to league average as a 3 point threat, he can be the point for this team with Sengun in the middle and Green, KJ & Jabari playing off of them.

Why on earth did they not call Tyty up? Is there something that doesn't allow them to do it?

Yes, tanking. But they are playing with fire, and they need to move on from Silas asap. I doesn't matter that they draft well, If they aren't developing and using those guys correctly they can never realise their potential.

Regardless, I'm happy that Ty Ty's getting minutes and producing in the G league, he needs reps to get back in shape and build confidence. Hopefully We will soon have changes in the coaching staff and roster, and that Ty, Josh and Tari will get more minutes and defined roles than right now.

He needs to stay there, at least for one more week, TyTy vs. Scoot Henderson baby!

I thought Nix was tearing up the G-League, but TyTy is on a whole 'nother level. Seems like there is literally NO reason to be playing Nix over him.

    TyTy's future is bright

TyTy hooping is so strange to watch. I know he is good because of the Kentucky PG lineage, but he never looks like he is even moving at times. I feel like the reason some people might think he isn't ready because the look of his game is so unique and lazy looking.

scoring 50+ and TyTy looks like he is floating and people are falling down around him is hilarious.

Give the guy a chance to play 30 min at the point for the 2nd half of the season. What do we have to lose? Don’t we need to find out what we have in TyTy?

I was telling some friends last night that this might be the most boring 53 points I've ever seen. Respectfully lmao

That being said, he needs to be in the rotation. It's his turn to see if he can provide adequate backup pg play.

It only took a 50 point game for Silas to bring him up.
