I don't know about being better. Them not being very athletic is probably the reason why they're so smart and great at the game. They had to learn how to play without being able to jump over guys. There's a reason why there's a distinction between a basketball player and an athlete who plays basketball.

Dude there really is no argument to be made here though.

Being athletic makes you a better player. If you gave Curry Ja Morant's athleticism he'd be the greatest player to ever play. The reason guys like Hakeem, Jordan, Lebron, etc are all so amazing is because of their athletic ability. When you add skills ONTO that you get a player that is unstoppable.

Curry and Klay have rare skillsets. Draymond shouldn't even be in the convo, he's an all time great role player, no one is building around Draymond.

Yeah and how many years we get these top pick amazing athletes that turned out to be just mediocre because they don't know how to play basketball.

Yeah Green has the potential to be a lot of things, but if that doesn't happen he's a Jordan Clarkson type of player. Some players just never gets it, and those who do usually get it really early on. I'm just overall tired of this omg he's so athletic argument. It's been a year and a half.

This is the same argument people use for Barnes and Mobley as well. Omg if Barnes and Mobley could learn to shoot they would be super stars, meanwhile they are shooting just as terrible as last year and are basically the same players.

I put Wagner #1 and Green #2 at 2021 draft. Green certainly will be a star player as Wagner. All top 5 players (wagner/Green/Sengun/Giddey/Cade) will be great. Green's improvement does not mean that wagner won't improve equally.

(2ND HALF) We went away from our ball movement, from sharing the ball.

Trust isn’t broken between the players. We’re all young, we’re all talented, we all in those moments can win a game for our team and sometimes that comes to light. We’re very talented. We have to trust our game plan and our schemes.

If they had to drive and mentality to get better it wouldn't have stopped them.

This "building around" is an archaic word, an outfashioned idea. You need 5 great players and 4 very good back-up for the ring.

Which one, when? Recently? Or last offseason?

Green's year has been disastrous - not just on the court but in terms of perception of his future as well.

I want you to name those players and compare their first two years to Jalen.

Again, yall overreact, you guys act like this is Tyrus Thomas out here struggling to score 10 points.

Yall act like Jalen Green has never played well.

Also, no, it isn't a "They usually get it early on or not." No, that's not how it works at all.

No it's not. Teams very much still build around a core of players lol.

No one is starting their rebuilding process with a 22 year old Draymond. Sorry.

Aside from Scottie Barnes and Mobley, I could see an argument for either Cade, Jalen or Franz being the best player of the 2021 draft. If everything goes as planned, Jalen has the most superstar potential but that's really best case scenario. If I'm being realistic and judging based off what I see now and projecting, I see Franz being more of a championship type player.

In the post-game inteview Sengun said that everything was good in the first half when he got the ball, but in the second half he didn't get the ball

All you need to know is Banchero and Franz will cook, on their way to complement each other to the T.

Most of the core concept of bball is 5 players but it's the duos and trios that make things happen.

The question is how good they can be, stratospherically.

I mean it's pretty frustrating watching Jalen the last month. He's been absolutely awful. Worst part is he loafs around after missing horrible shots and we give up soo many transition points. I don't think it would be as irritating if it looked like he was actually trying harder especially on defensive.
