Tate should start, 1 game has already proven that he should. But I'd go even further and am dead serious when I say I'd love to see Tate at the point, he's our:
    1. best defender
    2. veteran who communicates and shows true leadership qualities
    3. hardest worker who knows where to be on defense so actually his word matters
    4. best 1-man fast break, because he has the strength and vision to get it up over almost anybody
    5. solid passer and can create, perfect zone buster with his passing, and great being in the middle to direct the ball and others

    Thoughts?

Wasn't his biggest weakness was he couldn't shoot 3s or was it kmj?
We already have Smith and sengun who are poor 3 pt shooters, with 2 streaky chuckers in green plus kpj.

I think Tate’s weaknesses at the one are pretty similar to KPJ’s. Point is just not a natural position for him, while a willing passer he misses easy reads at times and is not a good lob passer (judging by last year, at least).

Tate’s not selfish but putting him at point guard would make him look that way. He just isn’t a point guard either

The next Draymond Green? I'd like that.

We legitimately have nothing to lose at this point.

Well the lose of Porter. I don’t know how he would respond. Maybe it a good thing; who knows.

I don't agree that Tate should be the point guard, but I'll just leave this quote from Sengun here:

Rockets insider: Jae'Sean Tate makes immediate impact in return from injury
    https://www.houstonchronicle.com/te...-Utah-Jazz-JaeSean-Tate-analysis-17698539.php

This quote makes me wonder what Sengun's relationship is like with Jabari, KPJ, and Jalen.

Hell no. He should start at SF though. The team needs a vet that isn't checked out in the starting line up who is a positive role model.

Tate as sad it is to say is our best role model vet presence we have who can actually get minutes. Boban exists but the dude can play 15 minutes max a game.

Draymond is in a motion offense. There is no way hes running pg in in this type of spread offense and neither can Tate.

This. When one of our self creation players have the ball in their hands(Green, KPJ, Sengun), the entire team just stands around unless one gets called up to set a screen.

Tate would be miles better than KPJ, for the simple reason that he is less selfish. So would TyTy. So would Boban.

Just like I thought - Tate was the first one off the bench last night

say bye to KJ and Taris minutes thanks to Silas playing EG and Tate (especially when Tate isn’t on a minutes restriction)

I think Tate plus a veteran starting pg is where our veteran minutes should be allocated to. Gordon needed to be traded 2 seasons ago.

Would much rather roll with TyTy for the rest of the year

Nah. We don't need a rookie being a floor general in a development roster.

We need a veteran pg. Again, is Mike Conley available?

    Tate
    Green
    Tari
    Jabari
    Sengun

Yes . Great lineup . Creation from Tari and sengun and Tate . Shooting from green and Smith (what they are supposed to be good at)

This lineup will test TATE. I agree with bringing him off the bench at first . After a few more games I'd try it out

KPJ should come off the bench . I think Gordon is still better than green .and kmj prolly is a bit better than Tari (on offense )

But green definitely starts over Gordon and kpj can still get big minutes.

Gordon needs to get traded to open up minutes for ty ty or Josh
