Similar to how u should invest, never put all your eggs in one basket. Silas mins distribution is wack. Mins are being given to Eric Gordon, mathews and kpj. Before that nix also. 3 of the 4 doesn't even have a future with us. Mins should b given to jc tyty garuba Eason, etc. We drafted these players, give them mins. Hell even sengun needs more mins. Playing kpj 42 mins isn't even a good thing. That's like thibs level of mismanaged mins. If we pivot from this stupid kpj pg experiment it's gonna b a waste of potential game experience for the rookies and other players that have a future with us. I would b one of the first to eat crow if this stupid kpj pg experiment pays off but even with kpj efficient games we get ass blasted most of the time. Silas weird a$$ fascination to make kpj into the next Luka/harden is gonna b the end of his career with us.
I'm convinced the awful rotations/mins are for tanking. There are some games where he staggers KPJ and Green and others where he doesn't. I'm glad TyTy is finally getting mins over Nix. Josh had a disappointing Summer League but I feel like he could still get mins. Garrison is just awful, especially if he isn't making 3s. Also notice how Jabari was on fire the other day and got taken out. Players who are red hot get iced. Jalen has been a non-factor in many 4th quarters. I truly don't understand the plan. You're losing but also not doing anything to develop these guys. The city, the fans, and the players all deserve better.
It’s embarrassing, Silas just doesn’t have HC chops. The only reason he’s still here is to finish the tank. This time next year he’ll be an assistant somewhere, and the Rockets will have an experienced and competent coach.
It´s ok to lose games and having a 10-27 record. Its not ok how we lose games, how Silas is managing our lineups, how we develope our talents and how we establish an new culture. Silas has to go...not for the record but for his coaching.
This is sad. What is wrong with the Rockets Management team, the same record as last year and both the offense and defense side are worst. Why in the world would Silas take Sengun out….why? He was being double teamed and he was getting to the line. Nobody on our team was being double team except for Sengun and we will not even pass the ball to him. Silas is wasting our developmental time for the players this year.
Hmmmm, A team that traded away it's best offensive player and replaced him with a rookie who can't shoot got worse offensively?! Go figure ...
I think he will be the coach next year but he will have a couple quality veterans to lean on instead of a running a rotation with 8 guys 22 or under and one disinterested geriatric. I really think it's too early to judge Silas on actual wins and losses, but he deserves to play out the string with a better roster next year. Add two veterans and a top 5 rookie while subtracting Nix, EG & Boban ....
