And the award goes to Silas. Which award? Worst coach of NBA history. Hall of a fame.Congratulations.

2 years,7 first rounders, and two of them top 3 selection. But we have worse record than last year.

We are progressing man,let him coaching more. Give him a Credit. Idiots.

Worst coach in Rocket's history is Silas.

The question is...Why we need a coach? Players say no development. It means; no development, and win. Why we pay salary to Silas? Anyone in this forum can do it free.

I bet if Silas did what Udoka did he would still have his job. Silas is invincible.

You have your disgruntled player who has said there has been no improvement play 30 plus minutes. This is unacceptable.

The only question in my mind is whether Tilman waits until the All Star break to cut Silas loose, or cuts him loose sooner. John Lucas as Interim Head Coach and then see how he leads the team before making a longer term decision at the end of the season.

Idk why he pulled Sengun towards end. Maybe foul trouble? I’d rather just let him play and foul out

This. Coaching becomes a problem when you can no longer evaluate talent appropriately. Regardless of winning or losing, we no longer have confidence that Silas is putting our guys in the best position to succeed.

The Lakers had 2 #2 picks and lot SRP w/ G leaguers. If my memory serves me. James comes in as free agent they move both the #2s & a lot of FRPs for Davis and win a championship.
We are loaded w/ FRPs that needed playing time because when they do the flash hard. Silas takes out Sengun late in the game so we will lose the game. Sengun was one of the youngest MVPs ever because he is clutch. Silas plays Porter at point to lose. Nix was more of the same. (Shooting a gun with a bent scope, there is nothing wrong with gun but it’s useless at the same time). Yes we are young but not nearly as bad as our record. It’s been stated by organization not to judge the team for 6 or 7 years. It’s all part of the plan. One more high lottery talent to mix with what we have. Look how Porter’s contract is written. He will be cut within a year’s time; right after Silas delivers a top 5 pick. (I feel for Porter being used like this but he is a means to an end)

Man finally realizes nix blows and takes his mins away and instead of giving it to tyty to see what he has at pg, he decides to play his golden child 42 mins. No player especially kpj should b playing that much mins.

    Silas is a dumba$$.

What part of they don't want to win games do you not comprehend??

Says the guy who doesn't know what a pick looks like.

OMG Sengoon no set picks ....OMG ISOLATION too much .... yet 93% of the Rockets offense is pick related.

2023 NBA Draft Lottery Odds | Tankathon
5th pick is a 10.5% chance at 1-2-3-4 and 2.2% at 5 .... and can fall all the way to #9.

The ultimate goal is #1 but the desire is to limit how far they can fall.

It's kinda like the Texans, they can win next week and piss away the #1 overall pick. They've done this crap before - winning meaningless games costing them draft position, It's simply counterproductive.

Silas is most definitely NOT the coach for the future.
However at the start of the season, there were polls on how many games people thought we'd win. And if memory served me correctly, the consensus was the LOW 20's with odds favouring under 23.5.
Just under half a season in and we're 10 and 27.
So based on fans predictions and the odds, we're about on track.
Do I like it? HELL NO. Losing sux.
But silver lining and wishful thinking is the players will continue to grow and develop this season, we a top pick (Hopefully the #1 this time) and we'll have a new coach.

As a Rockets fan i am really sorry to say that but, we should lose 25 game losing streak for that matter until siLas gets fired.

After losing streak; We will guarantee the best lottary chance, and also get a real coach.Win and Win...

Continue to grow? They’re not even playing let alone growing. I think this is where the anger is coming from.
