People must have died during all of this.

They are saying over 4 million people were celebrating no way there was no casualties

What was that idiot on the field and touching the Cup? I'm guessing this pic was after he was seen badgering Messi for a selfie literally minutes after the game had ended. Amazing what people can accomplish with a stupid gimmick of grossly bouncing salt off their likely unwashed elbow on to your mediocre steak that you are paying $1,000+ for.

Salt bae got exposed as an attention-seeker big time.

He was following Argentinean players like Messi around during the celebration and none of them wanted anything to do with him. He looked pathetic begging these guys to take pics with him and grabbing the trophy out of players hands just to take a photo. He has had zero to do with the World Cup and winning the trophy, but tried to take the limelight away from the players that put blood sweat and tears into winning it.

    It was embarrassing and cringeworthy.

Definitely not an accurate statement. They don't cater to the French team. France are colonizers. Much like Portugal. Like England as well. Unfortunately in this day and age it makes the net much wider for France to cast in search for players. Those countries would like to keep those players with parents from those countries...but for those players of course the lure in playing for the bigger country is there but also factor in (1) Chance to go further in the WC (2) Shenanigans and/or disorganization within the FA of their father or mothers homeland.

Once again, talent refinery is the wrong word. France are just at the top of the football food chain for those players to choose to play for.
I get what you mean by developing countries but as far as football wise, a lot of those countries aren't developing countries but are somewhere in the middle-Cameroon, Senegal, Nigeria. Those aren't a Guinea, Gambia, Togo, Eritrea. Those are countries that have been participating in World Cups for a while now. Their biggest problems are either disorganization, financial shenanigans within the FA's, or just bad management (looking at Nigeria as I state all those things).

Argentina didn't need to scout Messi though. Barca did the heavy lifting for them. Plus, in this day and age the big European teams have scouts in every football playing continent and in most countries.

That's the President of Kenya. A former British colony. They have zero players with French ties. He's just being a foolish clown with that tired joke.

Did Germany mock or insult them after 2014 the way the Argentine players have done to France this year? It's really been quite classless.

No we did not. They are pretty bad, it's kind of amusing to watch though.

Fairly certain Mbappe scored a hatty on that dips*** and a spot kick in the shoot out which was the 3rd time he went to the same spot. He pretty well owned Emily.

Credit to him as he was one the reason they won but the guy is a massive tool

Messi carries himself with class but a lot of their players are no better than a lot of their fans. They all love to dish it out and call it banter but the moment anyone says something back they all lose their ****

Thats why you always back Brazil and everyone else in south america before Argentina

The French have been arrogant for decades but I agree Argentina has overdone it.

We stand by and just watch the entertainment unfold.

Messi's childhood love is underrated and his hosting abilities.

It's the only sporting event (not like the Olympics which is a bunch of events) with the most popular sport in the world that the whole world competes in.

Pretty shocking that it's so intense and meaningful.

they should just do single elimination bracket that includes all possible countries with an official soccer team. that way there will be crazy upsets every round and a higher chance of no countries repeating
