the state of the forum is a thousand percent better today than it was a week ago, both the dumb list guy and team-of-hatred clown got the boot. It was a good week for ClutchFans overall
Glad to know I'm not alone. I'm not super active anymore because every thread is either nonsensical "meme" s#it or 23 posts in a row of two posters quoting each other and getting increasingly enraged over broken logic. At least at one point the inside jokes were funny. I've been wondering if the tone and content around here are reflective of the team but I'm starting to think it's just a change in who the most active posters are.
I will say it now. Sengun fans ruined it. I don't even get the victim complex because out of all the players on the team Sengun is probably the most liked by the fanbase.
Ya. He's one of the most likable players on the team. He seems like a fun personality also and a good locker room guy.
We as new members should not be saying this dear friend. This is a club that has won championships before and not all teams have done that. The team is in the process of rebuilding and drafted solid players. Rockets will have another huge pick next year and a lot of cap space. I say we are in good hands. I personally think this is a good forum with a lot of perpectives as seen in the various threads. I wish everybody a happy new year. All the best to everybody with a great team to support. Lets beat the Knicks and enter 2023 with a WIN
Just identify the toxic posters. Identifying a fan-base toxic is toxic itself. On top of that, some posters acting civil when interacting with others does not justify their behaviour against SOFs. The way some posters approach to SOFs is very problematic. I would not ban them, but they are somewhere between not tolerating with a different type of fandom and enjoying the freedom to attack to a group of newcomers.
To be honest this is nothing compared to the Lin Wars of 2012, just due to the sheer volume of toxic people that came. The Sengun fans are garbage, this is true, but there is only like ten of them, and sooner or later they will run out of tears.
