Appreciation for all he brings to this team on a nightly basis. Scary to think where we’d be without him. His halftime tirade was classic last night…..it was so nice to see a coach hold the team accountable. He was pissed off about effort, turnovers, defense, and even FREE THROWS!!! Never heard anything remotely close to those comments from Silas. No surprise the young team kicked the Bucks butts when he had the opportunity to motivate them as head coach. Heard that he is responsible for Green and Smith’s improvements as he has been getting up early and working with them individually before practices. He puts soooo much work into his craft and seldom gets the recognition he deserves.
OK i dunno what they slipped in my drink earlier, but I'm almost agreeing with Imanimal, ****ing weird man. I loved the halftime interview, and I agree, I wish we saw more of that fire from our actual head coach.
his favorite is kpj, that alone makes me not like the man. we already have silas, don't need silas 2.0
Yes, you can see Jalen's growth last year and this year. Jabari is getting better with his shooting, I LOVE putting Jabari at the free throw line, he can drive to the basket, he can do a turnaround jumper that is lethal. Jabari is a STAR player he just needs a coach to help him. Silas is not doing anything, but Coach Lucas is really helping this team. GOD, thank you for Coach Lucas:
A well intentioned thread ruined by more KPJ is the devil BS. Some of you guys are insufferable. On topic Lucas is a great coach for young men who have lost their way and had little to no positive reinforcement from male role models in their lives. His comparison game needs some work, but he's a great human who has seen the dark side and does his best to prevent others from falling to those lows. Whether or not he would be a good HC is up for debate.
i would have fired him anyway...not a good coach...you dont hire man just because he isnt Silas...you are starved now and any average coach looks godly in comparison to this clown!
I'm entitled to mine as u are entitled to yours. Should I have posted something u would say oh I'm A Big fan of lucas but I don't want him as head coach.
We were a different team….had a real coach leading us. I understand people wanting to clean house and I am fine with that as long as we keep this man on the floor with the team. If he weren’t here then KPJ would likely end back up on the street doing substances.
Fantastic video….never saw that before. Just a guess, but Silas has never coached a player with that particular discipline technique before. Guarantee you that Lucas did that last year and that’s what led to KPJ throwing something at him and driving off at halftime. Of course, hard nosed Silas rewarded him two days later with just a slap on the wrist for the incident.
Damn crackhead ruined my 85 championship aspirations ! -DD I got 20 bucks says he won't even click the thread..
The tirades need to come from the assistants. Atlanta is trying to get their head coach fired because Nate asked Trae if he was going to practice.....Trae replied I doubt it (coming off of illness). Nate replied, then I won't play you this game. Trae didn't go to practice and took it one step further....skipped going to the game. Team has been failing ever since. All this talk about shogun coaching is BS nowadays....the players run things Players get coaches hired and they can get coaches fired.
No, really good head coaches don’t need to defer to assists on discipline- because players don’t respect a HC’s that don’t confront them face to face. The fact that Lucas has seen his role continue to grow and that the Rockets brought in Hollins shows how weak Silas is. There is a lack of respect.
