Tskitishvilli is playing well in the summer league (26 and 27 pts in the first two games). He's basically in the same situation that Jermaine O'neal was in when he first came into the league. This is a young kid who obviously wasn't ready for the NBA but made the jump anyway. He's still quite young and has a chance to develop if he gets playing time. We should acquire him if the cost is not high.

Trade the TE for him.....or just get him in here.

Young players with upside are a good thing...

JVG will mold him...and we need moldy players.

I was wrong, game started at 3:30 mountain time, not 1:30 (mis read schedule).

Skita can score, Skita has a shot. Skita has no confidence and is awful. You guys keep pointing out his 26.5 ppg, but he's only grabbing 3.5 rpg. And he's our starting PF. The announcers on the summer league game keep saying "he's more of a 2-guard than a 3". THAT is the biggest problem with Skita.

I remember the word on him last summer was that he had worked like crazy to put on weight, bulk up and improve. I would take a chance on him -- I think he might work out, and if not, we need a new Weird White Guy and that could be Plan B. Boki is a total disappointment in that department. And forget Pike, what a bust. Rockets tradition is being besmirched without a Jason Collier / Hank McDowell / Dave Feitl type situation. Just scary, what-the-hell-are-they-doing here type of WWG. I have given up trying to figure 'why,' its just how it is apparently.

I have always thought NT would have a break out year sometime. I always pick him on fantasy teams. Which I suck at.

Big deal, so you play him alongside KG or Ben Wallace and he becomes a monster.

I think JVG can mold him into a SF or a backup PF worthy of around 30 minutes.

I don't think his defense is worse than Dirk's was at his age.

Nuggets4, is he athletic? What is the reason for his poor rebounding?

Or Jonathan Bender, or Al Harrington, or Leon Smith, or Darius Miles....etc.

This is the NBA. After 2 years, it is about "nowside".

What about Bender, Harrington, or Miles? All of them are solid to All Star caliber NBA players, Leon Smith was a mistake, but the other 3 are doing fine.

I am going to go with Kwame who I think will be an All Star this season, especially if he plays center.

Skita should be compared to other young big men. Let's see. Kevin Garnett , Jermaine O'Neal, Al Harringtong had shooting percentages over 0.450% by their 2nd year. Jermaine O'Neal had 13.18 rebounds per 48 minutes in his first year. Skita hasn't shot more than 0.328% this year. Skita can't even get 10 rebounds per 48 minutes. Upside? What upside? Jermaine O'Neal's numbers were much better in first year than Skita in either of his 2 years.

Scoring a lot of points, and every so often he gets some rebounds. Shoots the 3 fairly well, biggest problem is staying out of foul trouble based on those stats.

Based on the fact that Randolf (sp) from the Blazers lit up the summer leagues in a similar fashion, I'd say that he might be worth looking in to.

In the limited times I've seen him play, he reminds more of a tall Peja than a Dirk. Is he quick enough to cover the 3?

No, and not physical enough to play the 4. He's an enigma wrapped in a puzzle. Nugs will probably hang on to him for another year, pick up the option and see what happens.

I just saw him in a summer league game the other day, and I think that the best case, if he shoots the ball as well as people think he can, you're still going to end up with a Brad Sellers clone. He can't play inside on defense at all, and doesn't seem strong enough to be a consistent post-up guy inside.

Ugh, Sellers couldn't even hit the three... Didn't he win a championship with the Bad Boys? Or did he play for them later?
