CD is still on summer vacation. He won't be back from Tahiti until next week. We should see some news then.
yeah, hurry up and sign a backup or role player for 8 million a year. c'mon man, the Rockets just made one of the biggest blockbuster trades of the year. We have four new players on this team. There's no trade deadline to beat here. Hurrying up to sign an impatient player who you want is one thing, but to rush into making a trade for the sake of making a trade is not the right thing to do.

who cares if he's in timbuktu for the rest of the summer. Every trade CD has made has first been made over the telephone. These guys know how to get a hold of CD on his secret trade phone line. I'd give you the number but you guys may depress him with your incessant Houston Rocket discontent.
Agreed. The other teams are frantically siging guys, trying to swing deals etc because WE took the top guy off the market. Anything from here on in is gravy.
i guess this post and resulting thread entries are written in jest since CD was at the comets game last night retiring cynthia's jersey. the same game that damon jones was at. surely cd's is just waiting til teams run out of money and the remaining FA's will sign for whatever they offer. a la jimmy jackson.

To those complaining about not getting anyone as of yet. Do you really think we should have paid that much for either Fisher or Barry? We cannot match what the Warriors are paying Fisher. How about we wait till the offseason is over, before we assess things. It's like that old Commodore 64 game used to say while it was loading up "Patience is a virtue"
