Went to the gym and did some last minute shopping. Now it’s time to curl up under a blanket and eat an edible.

Not even a top layer freeze on the pool? That’s crazy if so. My brother in law had his water filtration system freeze up on him. He has pex so he should be fine, but the dumb ass didn’t wrap or leave a drip.

Amazing. You mean we get zero solar contribution at night? Color me bamboozled!

For anyone not looking to get manipulated by suspect screenshots (and no, it's not 90% throughout the day like the tweet wants you to believe), the link below is the actual contribution of each source to the fuel mix throughout the day. You can switch from previous day, to current day, and realtime on the chart :

While all the losers in my neighborhood were putting solar panels on their houses, I was busy building a nuclear power plant in my backyard.

While their power goes out at night, mine is still going strong.... plus the radiation causes a festive glow for all to enjoy.

He's a random guy on Twitter... that's why. Also, he probably has a YouTube Channel where he sits in his pickup trick and rants.

How do I see area under the curve. Nuclear is 8% constant and solar is above that from 08:49 to 16:44. The point about nuclear all being decades old is pretty amazing. Initial capitol is high and red tape sucks but nuclear is great imo.

ERCOT’s breakdown of energy use by fuel source in 2021 consisted of 61 percent fossil fuel sources, 28 percent wind and solar sources and the remainder from a combination of other sources

Wind and solar generators across the state have been asked by ERCOT to initiate curtailment — essentially, to reduce output below the maximum generation capacity when generation exceeds transmission capacity. Curtailment prevents transmission congestion caused by grid constraints and helps to avoid overloads.

There are simply not enough transmission lines to move all the wind- and solar-generated electricity to the customers that need it.

So instead of cherrypicking from nighttime to say we are not generating solar....these idiots can do something else productive with their lives. geezus.

Solar panels and wind turbines aren’t green unless somehow we’ve learned what to do with them when they expire

transmission and time of generation has always been problems with solar and wind. These aren't new criticisms.
