..... wait wait wait.... Are you telling me that all of sudden GOP loves SNAP and handouts to teh poor?!?!?! My gosh.... surely there is legislation being proposed by the Freedom Caucus to alleviate food prices? It's not just empty rhetoric!?!?! Right?
You should ask Manchin and Sinema why they wouldn't kill the filibuster. But I'm sure if they did that, you'd just find some other nonsensical gotcha tweet to criticize them for that too.
Apparently, with time, one can learn to love the taste of Putin's ***. At the 2:23 mark, FTW, Tucker admires in a not-gay way the cut of Zelenskyy's jib ... and perhaps in Tucker's imagination Zelenskyy's nicely tanned nads.
Remember when y'all were complaining about all this government spending leading to inflation with the Covid stimulus 2.0, infrastructure bill, CHIP bill, and Inflation Reduction Act bill... .... I am to believe that if the Ukraine War wasn't happening that your ilk would be pounding the table for relief to American poor? Cancer research? Etc? The gaslighting is just tiresome.... especially when your party had the government in 2016-2018 and y'all spent just like the Dems.
If they can't take credit for blasting away Bad Hombres, then we gotta think about the poors. Ofc, once they're in the driver's seat, then its all about doubling that check, and maybe "taking back" Afghanistan...then Vietnam, then...
Which vote are you referring to? I believe both Manchin and Sinema voted to increase cancer research.
I guess previously the spending went to our own military. Conservatives are not historically a fan of foreign aid.
sure, this is a 100% historically true thing if you exclude the Eisenhower, Nixon, Reagan, Bush and W. Bush administrations!
Previously? Are you saying foreign aid is a new concept generated by the liberals or something? Foreign aid is a pure capitalist. Capitalists want expanded stable markets. That's what foreign aid is. Expand stable markets. That's it. There literally is nothing more to it.
I thought we were spending all that money on the military to have the capacity to achieve our foreign policy goals. Here we have a goal and republicans are complaining about the incremental cost of achieving it. We know of course that that's not the real concern. They don't agree with the objective of freeing Ukraine from Russia and all the arguments about cost, kleptocracy, hunter biden's laptop, etc are just excuses for not wanting to pursue a free Ukraine. We should focus on the real reasons for supporting or opposing our aid instead of fake concern about the budget.
